When I turned the car off and restarted it, the navigation didn’t work. I called a Subaru dealership and was told it was a known issue and the repair would be about $1200. I had made a deposit on the car, but decided to walk away. After a conference call with Capital One they said the dealership said they would refund my deposit. Three weeks later and no refund. Now I’ve had to file a dispute. Oh, and the 2008 Subaru Tribeca is still on the lot as of 2-5-19 despite being told someone was coming from 150 miles away to buy it the next day, because “they don’t care about navigation.” More
Great experience Bruce and Jason were great! There were a couple of issues with the vehicle and Bruce made good on his word and paid to get it fixed. Great experience! Bruce and Jason were great! Dealer not inspecting Vehicle cost me thousands n Aug. 2017, I bought a 2008 Jeep from Auto House. I left the car for 10 days for the dealership to finish getting the car ready for pickup yet also had to drop it off 4 times the following 2 weeks after purchase due to repair issues with the vehicle. Since purchasing the vehicle, I have had to spend 1200 dollars in repairs to this vehicle and still have another 1300 in repairs that are left to be done due to faulty issues with the car, tires, and to repair an accident that was never disclosed to me. I had to do a $500 brake job in late September because calipers on both front wheel were cracked and made the car wobble. Three of the five tires on the car have bumps on them and make the car wobble if I drive over 60 Mph. I had to spend almost $500 dollars to have the rear tire removed from the car, an issue the dealership knew about and couldn't fix, only to find out that the reason they never removed the tire was that the car was in an accident prior to my purchasing it and was damaged along with the bracket that holds the tire on the car that had to be replaced. I was never told about this accident and it doesn't show up in the Carfax report. Before purchasing the car, I asked that the windshield, which had a crack in it and the rearview mirror which had rust around the edges, to be replaced. They were not. I had to replace them both, costing me over 300 dollars. "Every vehicle undergoes our rigorous inspection and clearance process, ensuring the utmost confidence in our dealership and our vehicles." This is the promise that Autohouse makes to it's customers and it is not true. If this car was inspected, it was not done correctly and there was no process. Instead, it seemed to be hasty and they were only concerned about money. I have contacted the owner to be compensated for the money I have had to put on the vehicle and was refused. If they stood by there motto, I would never have spend this much money to fix a vehicle I was promised was inspected and ready to go. More
A really great experience- TWICE. Love them. REPEAT BUYER- They are AMAZING! I bought a car from them in 2013 and my experience there was amazing. I am an anxious/nervous person in general, and I really have trouble trusting any company ever. So buying a car was pretty scary for me, especially as a female, I didn't want to be taken advantage of. Well the 2006 Nissan Altima I bought there is amazing, still runs like a dream, no problems. SO when my husband needed to buy a car about a month ago, it was a no brainer to go back. We just bought a 2014 VW Tiguan. Another amazing experience, this car is beautiful. ALL their cars are in amazing condition, they will not sell you anything that has issues. Down the road, when we need another car or want to trade in- without a doubt we will be back for a 3-peat. deceiving practices You know those car dealers that everyone tells you to stay away from? these guys are the definition. I went in there to test drive a silver 2008 Pathf You know those car dealers that everyone tells you to stay away from? these guys are the definition. I went in there to test drive a silver 2008 Pathfinder V8, Marcus greeted me and showed me the car. I liked it, confirmed with him the deposit is fully refundable and left the deposit. the next day I get a call, terms are way off and the price is not what was agreed on. I cancel the loan and give Jason (finance manager) my credit card information over the phone for the deposit refund, he confirmed with me the card number and told me to expect the deposit credited back within 24-48 hours. Brian (owner?) calls me back 2 hours later saying he's sorry we didn't come to terms and that he can drop the price of the car to the original terms, I said i'd think about it but confirmed with him that my deposit has been credited. I come back on friday and tell him your overpriced on the car according to kbb and NADA, he said he's not budging from the price (difference of $100). He said someone else is coming to take a look at the car the next day (saturday) and that he'd call me to confirm if the car is sold and if it wasn't he'd consider the deal. Day 3 and still no deposit refund on my credit card. End of the day, no phone call from brian, my bank confirms there aren't any refunds pending and I call brian to find out whats going on. without apology he says the car is sold, I ask him about my deposit and he changes the story to my bank is taking longer than usual. skeptical I called back under a different name and spoke with a different sales rep, he confirmed the truck is available and when I'd like to come by and take a look. i'm outraged at this point, not only did they lie to me about the whole process but they've been playing games with me. On my way back home from the grocery store I stop off and demand my refund, he refuses to issue the refund and tells the get out of the office or he'll call the police. at this point i'm in shock. did these guys just rip off my deposit??? I leave the office and call my bank right away, they file a claim and launch an investigation. Thankfully my bank believes in customer service and they refund it immediately. I urge you, stay away from these guys, brian (owner), marcus (sales manager) and jason (finance manager) are not there to help but rather to anger and deceive you. i've never been mistreated this badly and am still in shock how these guys do business. ALSO please google reviews on this place, from yelp to google reviews, nothing but bad news. horrible dealership, terrible customer service and mind games. stay away. More
