We came in and Rick helped us out with the whole process and everything went very smooth, they didn't have the color we wanted but went and found us the color. On the sales side of customer service they are friendly until they make the sale. So I have experienced particulary from one person. The other sales manager I havent even heard from. The friendliest person I encountered since having my problem with a brand new car lass than 2 months old is John in the service center. He seemed very concerned about my problem. Calling me back updating me as to what I can do to resolve what has happened to me. Sales needs to take lessons from him on empathy, he knows how to handle people. This general manager does not. Didnt even return my call regarding my concerns as if to say" Im nobody" This is my first experience with Nissan and it is the worst. Had I known I would have never given you guys my business. His tone of voice had no concern at all. I bought a brand new car to discover it has an oil leak!!! Im sure he tore up the letter I sent. Chevrolet on richmond highway 22304 I miss you!!! If you were unhappy and they think they had anything to do with it directly or indirectly there was some kind of courtesy extended to you. In words or actions. Here at cowles Nissan beyond sorry and the sorry not being hert felt or at least a good fake pretending they have nothing for you. At the least not even kind words. I am shocked. Didnot expect my car to have an issue so early on and did not expect discourtesy. Especially from the general manager. I cant imagine this is how he deals with all people. Wish some one could replay that telephone conversation. If one person could change the opinion of this dealership and the sales side it will be my mission from this point forward to let people know of my experience. I made a bad mistake. I left quality customer service for what I thought was a quality vehicle and quality dealership. If he is the head of this dealership I now question those that follow there leader. So far Ive meant 1 John in customer service who seems to be different. Kevin cooper I have heard nothing from. So I dont know what to think of him regarding this matter. He was a great salesman and very courteous to me during the sale. I deal with every tpe of people at my job. I go out of my way to go beyond my job discription to ensure there experience and there return to my place of business. They get nothing less than my best. I brought my maxima in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. I had no appointment and was out in less than thirty minutes. Buyer Beware: They will rip you off when you buy a used car. I just bought a 2005 Murano that has door locks that don't lock, a bad front axle and a CD player that doesn't work. I had not bought a car in 16 years and had no idea what I wanted. I just happen to rent a Nissan vehicle for the weekend, and liked it and thought I should check out Nissans. Although, I explained all this to my salesman who met me as I drove into the parking lot on a snowy day, Charles was still eager to show me the Pathfinder I wanted to see and test drive. We test drove that vehicle but I thought it was a little too big for my purposes. Tony, the sales manager, then suggested the Murano. Two days later, on short notice, I came back to test drive that vehicle and a few days later I drove my 2012 Nissan Murano AWD Platinum home. Although, they did not have the vehicle I wanted in their inventory, Cowles found it for me and still gave me a very good price. Matt found me an unbeatable interest rate. What I really appreciated was the fact that everyone allowed me the time to decide at my own pace. No aggressive sales tactics and no “you must buy today or the deal or car goes away.” Also, Charles did an excellent job delivering the vehicle and showing me all the features. Living all the way down in Southern Maryland, I thought it would be a total waste of time driving all the way to Woodbridge to buy a new Nissan Altima and Murano for my wife and myself. I called the dealer on a weekday and spoke with a Manager named Kevin. He was easy to remember as he had an English accent. Kevin had obviously been many years in sales and was truly one of the most professional people I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. I was more than happy to see that even though the store is getting ready to go through a multi-million dollar facelift, the whole team at this store could not have been more professional. Their inventory was truly plentiful after I discovered on their website that they had the largest selection of both new and pre-owned Nissans as well as other makes and models. We had an initial agreement on a car that fell through because it was assumed (by both of us) the vehicle was an AWD. Saleman (Hadi) and floor managers (Scott & Tony) were extremely apologetic for the mi because it was assumed (by both of us) the vehicle was an AWD. Saleman (Hadi) and floor managers (Scott & Tony) were extremely apologetic for the misunderstanding and stated they'd do what they could to correct the issue. Worked with Tony over the next couple days to find a 2011 Murano that was identical to the one we liked except this one was AWD. They agreed to honor the price we discussed which ended up being 25%+ below MSRP. They found us a great interest rate and lowered the extended warranty cost by 33%+. Extremely happy with the purchase and would highly recommend the dealership to others looking to purchase a Nissan. More
