Nothing they said since the beginning was true. Officially the worst car dealership I have ever had the displeasure of attempting to work with. Received one of their targeted advertisements telling me I'm preapproved, no money down. Get sent to a broken website that swallows my information. I am then contacted by a salesperson who acts like he can't be bothered with me (This is the second time they have contacted ME, not the other way around) and when I ask why i should do business with Cowles, he hangs up. I contact the general manager, who apologizes and puts me in touch with the finance manager, who tells me they can get me approved after I stated I do NOT have a vehicle to trade. He tells me he will put me in touch with the internet sales manager. I contact the ISM today, tell him I'll have a down payment tomorrow, and he tells me to go ahead and come in tonight instead. I make the trip there, and the ISM informs me that there's been a miscommunication, they thought I had a trade, and there's nothing they can do. I told them TWICE I do not have a vehicle to trade before any of this nonsense started. Not once has Cowles stood by their word. they blame me, they blame the bank, they blame anyone and everyone but themselves. Not ONCE have they manned up and done the right thing. I just wanted them to admit THEY screwed up, badly. The managers there are worthless. They have no idea how to defuse a bad situation and just sit on their hands looking sheepish, or hiding and refusing to take your call. Their guaranteed approval is a flat out lie. They ran my credit, and again insisted I had an approval. Then I show up at their request, and instantly, without a trade, their story is "There's nothing we can do. there's no on to talk to". What they mean is there is no way they're going to accept responsibility. Now, I have multiple inquiries on my credit report, no vehicle, and no desire to ever see or deal with Cowles Nissan, or any other Cowles business, ever again. The only apology I received from the manager was "I'm sorry for what you believe happened". That's probably the most insulting apology I have ever received from anyone, ever. More

Our salesman was awesome! He never tried to pressure us into anything. He was extremely helpful, friendly and had an great attitude. The finance manager went above and beyond as well. We wanted to use the Nissan College Grad incentive to surprise our daughter with a new Juke S, AWD , and BRIAN JOHNSON was our man to make the deal happen! He was truly outstanding from start to finish: called us at home to confirm details; located the perfect car within an hour; efficiently, pleasantly and professionally handled all the details; met our every wish; and had us driving away absolutely thrilled! Most importantly, he BEAT the other local Fairfax County dealerships in price significantly and matched others' service offers! We are very lucky to have so many Nissan Dealerships in our area: Sheehy Springfield and Manassas, Browns Fairfax and Sterling, Koons, Rosenthal, Chantilly, etc--but going to BRIAN JOHNSON in Woodbridge at COWLES NISSAN was the best choice, providing the most value and the best price. (Cowles is near Potomac Mills Outlets and Ikea--a very quick zip on 95 South) BRIAN JOHNSON was a no-drama, no pressure, personable professional who knew every aspect of the Juke, and knew how to maximize our time on a busy Saturday. The General Manager, Peter, introduced himself, and provided festive balloons to add to the surprise gift car--a kind, memorable gesture for this special occasion. I would highly recommend Brian Johnson at Cowles, and urge others to venture beyond the local Fairfax dealerships--it is really a short drive to Cowles in Woodbridge. You would be rewarded to meet a man sincerely invested in your satisfaction. Several days after the sale, Brian called to ensure that we remained pleased with every aspect of our car buying experience. Got to love that attentiveness and consideration! More

On Novemver 14, 2013, I took my car to Cowles Nissan for service. Prior to bringing my car for the 15,000 mile service, I called the dealership to ask the price. I was told that it would cost $335.00 and wa service. Prior to bringing my car for the 15,000 mile service, I called the dealership to ask the price. I was told that it would cost $335.00 and was not informed of any additional cost. I expected to be charged $335 plus tax. When my husband went to pick up the car, he was charged $379.80 plus $8.32 tax, a total of $388.12. This was more than I expected to pay. The reason I called prior to bringing my car was to make sure that the cost was within my budgeted limit. I am very unhappy and disappointed in being tricked. When I called to complain, I was told that that there is a charge for shop supplies, hazardous material, etc. I told the representative who quoted me the price that he should have mentioned all charges. When someone call for a price quote, the amount given is what they expect to pay. Lesson learned! Just want customers to be aware. Unhappy Customer Mitchell More

I was looking for Nissan Pathfinder 2014. I was pleasantly surprised to get fast and friendly service from Carl Russell and Dean Stemple.
