I was then contacted via text to make an appointment to test drive the car. I drove an hr and half to the dealer which looked more like a scrapyard. I walked into an unlocked and empty office past several customers who were also looking for a staff member to help them. after wandering around this car graveyard strewn with destroyed cars I was asked by a guy who didn't give his name if I "needed help." I politely told him I was here for the1 PM test drive of the car. He said, "oh that car was sold weeks ago." I explained that I had called, texted, and emailed plus I drove an hour and a half to get the car, his reply, "oh well I'm really sorry." he said as he strode away. xxxx this guy and his xxxx business. Why would anyone spend their money here?? After running a search on Auto Expo, of used , Jeeps, 100,000 miles or less, $5,000 or less and getting results of 44 jeeps that came back from that s After running a search on Auto Expo, of used , Jeeps, 100,000 miles or less, $5,000 or less and getting results of 44 jeeps that came back from that search, I took a 90 minute drive from New Jersey to Huntington., anxious to buy a vehicle. Each listing says check for availability, but I decided if the top three or four listing were no longer available, there would certainly be plenty more to consider. After being approached by a salesman, I introduced myself and stated that I was interested in a car for ......."we don't sell cars, we sell Jeeps", was his reply before I finished my first sentence. I replied, "Yes, were are interested in a few of your online listings. Didn't want to spend a lot of money since it would be her first car." I told you, we don't sell cars, we sell Jeeps." Really? So much for embracing the customer. I explained the numerous listings, (which are still up), we just drove 90 minutes, and his response was "Each listing has a check availability clause. I only have maybe 3 or 4 and they are out back", as he pointed to a sea of jeeps that were not anywhere near prepared to be driven or sold. How does a business so fundamentally ugly, manage to stay in business. Don't waste you time or your money. Worse experience ever More
