Spent hours their discussing and finalizing terms verbally, then they tried to claim they got the terms confused because I was "looking at other cars too and those cars had warranties but not the car you picked out" Baloney. They tried to upsell me on different cars but I never expressed serious interest in any of them. But they claimed that their warranties only applied to certain cars. They could have made that clear from the beginning. More

They advised us they showed us the wrong car when they found out my payoff of my old vehicle was slightly less than expected. They would not do the deal until we surrendered the difference. This was after the original deal had been approved. This was totally unethical and probably was fraudulent. More
Hello, my name is Jeremy Miller. I am writing this e-mail on behalf of my wife Fae Miller. She is currently in Vista(Lee Mental Health) and she can not speak for herself due to her current condition. This ev on behalf of my wife Fae Miller. She is currently in Vista(Lee Mental Health) and she can not speak for herself due to her current condition. This event took place on the 29th of July 2010. I had not seen my wife all week, apparently she had been off her medication for some time and was staying at family and friends houses. My wife is a very intellegent upstanding person with no criminal record. On Thursday of that week Fae decided she was going to go and trade our paid off 2005 Hyundai Sonata(66,000 miles) for another vehicle.$5,000 is the rediculous trade-in amount they gave Fae towards the gas hog. With the help of Auto Advantage they steered her to a 2001 gas eating V8 Ford f-150 with 98,000 miles.O did I mention they set her up with 45 easy payments of 256.00 per month.I don't understand how this can happen. I called the dealership and asked them what was going on? I simply stated my wife was in no condition to make any kind of buissnes deals on that day. They said they could not talk to me because my name is not on the Hyundai or the sales contract.I've been juggling helping my wife everyday and trying to find some justice here.My name is on the truck insurance as a second driver.I've been driving to the doctors and the store or wherever is needed. Today is the 23rd of August 2010.Around 3:00 today a tow truck pulled up and took our truck away. I asked him what was going on and he said that the dealership we purchased the car from is taking it back. What the heck is going on? Our first payment is not due until the 28th of August. I called the dealership, they said legally they could not tell me the reason , because I am not the owner. What are they gonna due next, send us a bill for the tow? Also,if they canceled the contract then we need our down payment back, which is our Hyundai. Please help.We have no vehicle and this place just took both of our cars. It's bad enough they took our paid off Hyundai, one of their sales staff told me it wasn't that nice of a car anyway and on top of that, taking back the truck before the first payment was even due.Really, how can this happen?See,they new my wife was mentally incapable of coming down to the dealership or even understanding what is/was happening so they went the extra sleezy mile and took the truck back.I can't get power of attourney due to her not understanding what she is signing. We need our Hyundai back.If this story has not turned you sour from these guys, good luck. I purchased a 2007 minivan, and after one week all my issues started. I brought the van back 7 times within two months of my purchase date for brake issues, a window that would not work as well as a bac issues started. I brought the van back 7 times within two months of my purchase date for brake issues, a window that would not work as well as a back door that wont open. I ended up paying $120 for parts for a brake job with them since their technician put the brake pads on wrong and caused them to warp the rotors. Now I took the van to a mechanic and paid over $400 for repairs on the front and back brakes since Auto Advantage seems to have no problems selling a vehicle with brake issues to a family with SMALL CHILDREN!!! I still have a window that wont go down and a door that wont open. I am so sorry I purchaed this van, unfortunately we needed the vehicle with the space for our kids. Auto Advantage is no advantage. They take advantage and are the WORST kinds of people. What a joke, I hope the manager sees this and knows he lost us as customers, as well as the 24 other managers that are in need of cars at my job, they have all seen the issues we have dealt with. They all are purchasing their cars elsewhere. More
