If I could give 0 stars I would! I have had several issues with Auffenberg as a whole, but this last one is the straw that breaks the camels back. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN! I have had several issues with Auffenberg as a whole, but this last one is the straw that breaks the camels back. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN! I have purchased 3 vehicles with Auffenberg Kia, Ford North and the pre owned lot. This particular instance is absolutely infuriating and I refuse to go back. So in ONE VISIT this is the list of issues: -My car keys taken home by an irresponsible mechanic causing personal strife -Oil life not being reset, despite explicitly requesting that be done and it being noted in the ticket (for the 5th time in a row) -Being led to believe Kia can do the repairs needed (not true) -Being told Auffenberg would reach out to my insurance, and they DID NOT (Causing over two week delay in repairs being made) -No receipt or proof of work being done to my vehicle I took my Kia K5 up there to be serviced (oil change, tire rotation etc) and I also noted that someone had tried breaking into my car and they broke both passenger windows and there was some damage to the door. I requested an estimate to repair the damages for my insurance. I dropped my car off at the scheduled time of 8am and by 4pm I had not heard anything. I called up there and spoke to Paige (one of the advisors) and she told me that the mechanic that worked on my vehicle had taken my car keys home with him and the mechanic was not answering his phone, so I had to wait until the next day to pick up my vehicle. I was understanding of "accidents happen" and I was annoyed but things happen. I picked up my car and my oil life had not been reset for the 5th time in a row, even though I noted explicitly to make sure they reset the oil life. At this point I am more agitated but still understanding. Paige told me that she would contact my insurance company regarding the repairs to the windows and door. Fast forward TWO WEEKS and I still have not heard anything from Paige. I called my insurance broker and she said she had not received anything from Auffenberg. I called up to Kia and one of the other advisors told me "I dont see anything in the notes about insurance, and we dont do body work here....You will need to take it to Auffenberg Ford South in Belleville." So not only did Paige NOT do what she told me she would do, She didn't even bother to send me the proper information, nor was I provided a receipt of my service. If I had not reached out to my insurance agent, nothing would have been done! I truly regret spending almost $40,000 purchasing vehicles from Auffenberg, on top of the several thousands for repairs for my vehicles. More

The battery had only 20% life remaining, as confirmed by their own technician. Despite presenting valid proof of warranty coverage, we were asked to wait nearly three hours without any updates or resolution. During this time, Sales Manager Brian Brawley—who had initially stated he would look into the matter—remained in his office socializing with colleagues rather than addressing our concern. When my husband politely approached him for an update, Mr. Brawley responded in an unprofessional and dismissive manner, stating, “He’s not purchasing a battery,” and referencing the price of our vehicle, which was completely irrelevant to the warranty issue. The situation escalated when Mr. Brawley began raising his voice and approaching my husband in an aggressive manner. I intervened to de-escalate, only to be met with further hostility. He shouted that he could not speak with me because the car was not in my name, which is both inaccurate and inappropriate—especially considering we are married and jointly responsible for the vehicle. At this point, a family member on FaceTime began recording the interaction as Mr. Brawley continued to yell and use inappropriate language. My husband returned to the room after seeing Mr. Brawley in my face, and the situation deteriorated further. Mr. Brawley then called the authorities, falsely accused my husband of damaging dealership property, and had us trespassed from the premises. After contacting Kia Corporate, we received confirmation that the battery was indeed under warranty and should have been replaced at no cost. The claim that the warranty was invalid due to the vehicle being purchased in another state was also confirmed to be false. This experience was not only frustrating but deeply disappointing. It is unclear why a sales manager was involved in a service-related issue, especially one he was clearly unqualified to handle. Mr. Brawley’s conduct was unprofessional, confrontational, and completely unacceptable. I strongly urge Auffenberg Kia to reevaluate the roles and training of their staff, particularly those in customer-facing leadership positions. Based on this experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this dealership to others. More
They did nothing to compensate time lost from car when it had multiple exhaust type problems. Never had a loaner, and for time without car didn't even off a few oil changes for a car I bought less than 6 mo had multiple exhaust type problems. Completely satisfied with all phases of this periodic maintenance on my 2020 Kia Sorento; from key turn in to pickup and summary of maintenance performed.
