Not so impressed I am a single woman that was looking to purchase a new Sonata. I purchased from Auffenberg Hyundai because of location only. But during the process, I I am a single woman that was looking to purchase a new Sonata. I purchased from Auffenberg Hyundai because of location only. But during the process, I was dealing with a salesman named Andy that was very good at trying to answer my questions, and showing me details of the car. I was then shuffled over to Keith Dalton because I was not committed to purchasing and found him to be very pushy, and not straight forward. Such as the care car package that he said came with the car, which turned out in the final paperwork I paid $399.99 for, but was NEVER TOLD that was a charge. Before I bought the car he called my cell phone 2 - 3 times per day, and afterwards he acts like I am a problem for him when I ask questions concerning my investment of purchasing a car there. I hope to be happy with the car, and for warranty purposes I may use the service department, I went there today and they were great. As far as salesmanship, or customer service from the front area, I believe Mr. Dalton needs to work on his attitude towards his customers. Finance man was very polite, and answered all my questions just fine. More

This is a shady dealer with deceptive practices Bought my Kia here on 2013 and while the car itself is great the company is crooked. All my experiences at the other Auffenberg dealerships have all b Bought my Kia here on 2013 and while the car itself is great the company is crooked. All my experiences at the other Auffenberg dealerships have all been very positive, but this particular one ripped me off. They mandated that I purchase the auto butler contact to keep the internet pricing even though I didn't want it, but it was buy the service or don't buy the car. Then they repeatedly failed to schedule my car detailing. I called several times and complained and managed to get exactly one service scheduled. All the other times I was told to leave a message because the scheduler was out but I never got a call returned. Eventually I got fed up and asked for them to refund my money and cancel the contract but they refused. It went all the way up to the used car dealers manager who admitted I got screwed but said that because the sale was before his time there that he wouldn't do anything about it. He said that besides that, it was my obligation to do the scheduling and that I should have been more diligent. When I came back with my contract which started that it was A DEALER OBLIGATION, said to him that he wasn't keeping his word, he got belligerent and said it wasn't him, but his predecessor and only there owner could overrule it. He then told me in no uncertain terms that he ALWAYS keeps his word. Then he promised me that the owner would call me within 24 hours. And of course, he didn't. And again NOBODY would take my call. At this point I had enough so I filed a BBB complaint and another complaint with the Illinois Attorney General Office of Consumer Protection. Of course then I got a call offering me a full refund. But the guy was a jerk still when I came to pick it up and still wouldn't giver new any kind of apology. I found out later that the Auffenberg Group has different dealerships managed by different sons. This explains why my experiences at the Kia and VW dealers have always been outstanding. More

When I arrived at t This was my first time buying a new car. I was looking into a Hyundai Sonata for while and saw that Auffenberg had an exact match. When I arrived at the dealership I was greeted immediately with a warm welcome from Jerry Fisher. When going over the car he was very professional and was knowledgeable about the car and all of its features. When purchasing the vehicle, he was honest with the pricing and we were able to agree on a price that fit within my budget. The biggest positive with Jerry was that he was not overbearing in trying to sell the car and was very patient and honest. If anyone I know needs a new car I will recommend Auffenberg Hyundai and salesperson Jerry Fisher. Again many thanks. Kevin L. More
