Auffenberg has given us the worst service of any automotive retailer. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone for buying or servicing a vehicle. I understand they are understaffed but that does not mean they no longer have to communicate with customers on times, updates, or anything else related to the status of our vehicle — especially when the vehicle means the difference between making a paycheck for our family or not! For a “reputable dealer” they hardly are my first choice if I can help it. More
Dave Alvarez was the dealer handling my profile He wasn't very professional and seemed almost irritated from the beginning of our interaction. I waited in the lobby as I watched other people being waited on, finally once he walked up he never greeted me properly just asked what are you here for? I'd told him what was going on and what I was wanting to be done he said okay before leaving we discussed certain maintenance suggestions and prices typically dealership process. Later that day I was notified that the maintenance may take a little longer in which I agreed.I could pick it up once it was done the following day, no problem. Once the next day arrived hour after hour goes by and I'm no longer getting any notifications nor had I heard from Dave so I called just for an update. I could hardly get my name out before he very sarcastically said "It's DONE" I said oh I wasn't aware, I've been waiting on your call. Dave said yeah I had the paperwork sitting on my desk he'd just gotten back from lunch. I could hear him sigh then he became very blunt as if I was getting on his nerves about my car. I just wantes ro know how things went. So seeing how he's speaking to me I cut the conversation very short and ask him what was the finishing price? He aggressively said the same thing I told you yesterday as if it was a problem to know the correct final total! That was it for me!! I said okay and hung up on him. He immediately called me trying to break down the numbers, what was done and how it went after the fact because he knew that wasn't professional in any way and I'm sure he felt my tension immediately that's why he called me right back!! (please check phone records if not available I can email my copy of the phones calls duration!) I immediately stopped what I was doing to go and pick up my car. Once I arrived the price of my car was more than what he originally said and I spent roughly $630.00. The second representative who checked me out was super helpful though, he did explain to me where the extra charges were coming from and tried to work with me but once you already tasted a bad lemon there is no going back. I wanted to quickly pay and quickly leave the establishment. I was almost running to my car!! I occasionally use this location for the convenience but I definitely will not be back. You can thank Dave Alvarez for the poor representation, bad attitude and lack of integrity for the ford company he displayed. You don't treat people like that that are spending their hard earned money in your establishment. Great job day for running me off. All businesses should be grateful for any sales in today's economy because each one does count! More
