We have been researching to buy a Ford Raptor for about a year, and are ready to buy. We were contacted by George Slaughter internet sales for Auffenberg.He told us he had the truck we were looking for at hi year, and are ready to buy. He spoke to us on the phone and also e-mailed us a quote (we still have it) of $46,111 if we would come in and purchase the vehicle. This was a good price so we decided to drive the hour and 10 minutes from O'Fallon Missouri to purchase the vehicle. Long story short, when we arrived to purchase the truck, the manager sent a salesman out with a quote on a yellow post-it note with the "sticker price" on it of $50,8xx, (I forget the last few numbers). He told the salesman to tell us that he would not honor the quote from George Slaughter, and that he has been turning down offers from other dealerships for this truck. We wasted time and money to be treated so poorly. We can pay sticker price 5 minutes from our home. This is a very unethical business practice and in my opinion, should be against the law. More
