My family and I scheduled a test drive on a 2015 Ford Fusion, we drove an hour and a half to test drive the vehicle. Once we arrived at 10:36am, we were greeted by a salesman, he looked us up and went to Fusion, we drove an hour and a half to test drive the vehicle. Once we arrived at 10:36am, we were greeted by a salesman, he looked us up and went to get the salesman we were assigned to, John Clay. John came out and informed us that the vehicle we were the to test drive had previously been sold and the man returned it because the transmission had gone out over a month prior, and it was waiting to get in the shop to be replaced. He said we could look at the car, but that was pointless because we couldn't test drive it. We told him we were not informed, and gave him the price we wanted to stay under. He said he had 1 but it wasn't at that location. He asked us if were willing to look at different price ranges as long as he could keep it under a certain payment amount. We agreed. He showed us 2 vehicles. We found one we liked and he started crushing numbers. He gave us a payment amount of $495/mo. We sat for hours before we were able to get into financing. Once in financing the payment had gone up to $593/mo, upon asking the finance guy he tells us they added a manufacturers warranty and a whole bunch of other stuff. We went and spoke with John and he was very confused on why the price went up almost $100, he told us to tell my husband to stop signing the paperwork. We walked back into the financing office and asked him to stop because John was concerned as to why it had gone up so he was going to speak to his manager. We told the finance guy what was going on and huffed and said "come on guys. You can wait outside, I have 2 other deals to close right now." He was extremely rude and definitely tried to rush the process without explaining things to us. We informed the manager as to what happened and we were told "sorry, he's stressed. We've had alot of people in here today." We drove an hour and half away, weren't able to test drive the vehicle we came there for, spent 7 and a half hours at this dealership and were treated poorly by the financing department. John was amazing. He was helpful, kind and patient with us, but we will NOT be going back and are glad that this experience is over! Their front desk staff that scheduled the test drive were not informed on the transmission replacement and that caused them to not be able to do their job properly. While we still left with a vehicle after 7 hours, this was the longest and most stressful experience of our lives. More
