We purchased a used Nissan Rogue on Thursday 1/9. We made an appointment online and received no directions on which facility to go to, or which salesperson to contact. We went to three different buildings and when we finally got the correct one, no one seemed to know we were coming and there was confusion about who would serve us. The vehicles we specifically came to see were at another facility 15 minutes away, and one of them had unrepaired body damage and the engine died during the test drive...four times. While test driving the Rogue, a warning light came on and the dealership promised to resolve it prior to picking up the vehicle on the follow day (Friday 1/10). There was a snowstorm on 1/10, so no one came in to work, which is understandable. We were assured the car would be ready the evening of Monday 1/13. We communicated that we would be picking it up at 5pm. The salesman did not tell the service department this and left for the day...we showed up to find that the car was not ready, nor were they aware we were coming. We drove 90 miles round trip for no car. It is now Wednesday 1/15 and the car still is not ready. They have cashed my check. The communication from the salesman to us and between the salesman and service has been extremely poor and would be nonexistent if we were not checking daily. They have not proactively contacted us about anything. I will be cautioning all of my friends to not buy from Auffenberg. More
The salespeople at Auffenburg’s used car dealership definitely have a lot to learn. The first time I met anyone, they were cussing, talking about female body parts, smoking weed, etc. They got me into the car I was looking at, but failed to inform me about some things I feel should have been mentioned and tried to make me feel like I was being irrational when I brought them up. The car required service before even a week had passed, and the sales manager said he doesn’t have any control over what his sales people tell customers they can offer “out of their own pockets”. We will not be returning to Auffenberg, and we will be making sure our contacts know about the issues we’ve had. More
Charlie treats you like a friend whether you purchase a vehicle or not. This is the third or fourth vehicle I have purchased with Charlie as the salesman.
