Although the warranty on the tires I purchased from Audi Wallingford had expired, the guys at this dealership replaced my faulty tire on the house. Horrible service experience. Promised a loaner, did not receive one. Tried to sell me service I did not need and did not address the initial complaint that I had brought the car in for to begin with. I was in the market for a new or slightly used vehicle to replace a 2010 Acura TSX (6 Speed Manual). Always prefer the manual transmissions, which remain an increasingly difficult find. Few Audi dealerships have the diversity of inventory found at Audi of Wallingford, despite the overall inventory size being what I would describe 'mid range'. From the minute I arrived to review both the new and Certified inventory, Burt Kelman was at the door, hand outstretched. He, and everyone at the dealership conducted themselves effectively, and as important, efficiently throughout the process of identifying the most appropriate Audi based on my needs and preferences, the test drive (where all questions were handled with ease), the negotiations, including the trade, and perhaps most importantly, the paperwork. I would not hesitate to recommend Burt as a knowledgeable, experienced salesperson (despite a relatively short tenure with Audi vehicles, his career in sales clearly comes through in his effectiveness). As he said, and delivered on, the only pressure at the dealership is in the 'tires'. I felt that way through the entire process. I also found the dealership size to be a strong positive. It was busy, but not crowded. There is ample space to meet and talk without feeling cramped. The dealership is clean, well laid out, and another positive is that the inventory is easily accessible from the showroom. Simply grab some keys, and take a quick walk to see first hand the vehicle in question. I have not yet experienced the service department, so cannot comment. In summary, a very positive experience with Burt Kelman and the entire team at Audi of Wallingford. I would not hesitate to recommend this team, and will certainly be back when it is time for another vehicle. More
I had been shopping for a new car for over a year, hating every moment of it. When I first walked into Audi of Wallingford I was greeted by Richard Crane who was friendly, caring and put me at ease. He led me through a process of asking me questions that helped me discover for myself what was most important in a new car and the features that would best suit my lifestyle. He was never pushy but always patient, supportive and authentically excited for me to get the car of my dreams. He actively listened to my wants, needs and hesitations meeting them with truth and gentleness. I never felt like I was being "sold to" and his customer service was impeccable. When I visited other dealerships I felt like they had their own agenda and would rather tell me what I wanted never even asking me what features would best meet my lifestyle needs - not at Audi of Wallingford. The dealership itself is beautiful, clean and located conviently off the highway. Every person I encountered there was friendly, interested, and supportive without the whole sales pitch that you usually get. I am always treated like a human being with respect and care - not like a customer. They worked with me on the pricing and financing with patience. I got great deal on a really nice car, one that I never thought I could have and they gave me more than anyone else offered for my old car. Even after the sale was complete, Richard Crane exceeded my expectations - giving me a second delivery - taking me step by step through voice recognition training, personal settings and special features in my car to make sure that I was comfortable and that I understood all the features availble in my new Audi SQ5. When I returned to the dealership to put on the winter tires, Richard took time away from his work day to come over and make sure that I was still happy with the car, ask about my family - details he remembered because he cares and listens, and offering to answer any questions I might have. He stayed with me the whole time while I checked into service to make sure that I was taken care of. The service center is just as awesome as the sales process. I was never rushed, they answered all my questions with respect and even gave me a beautiful loaner car that was comparable to my new car to dive for the day at no extra cost. When I got in the loaner car the radio, seat settings and temperature were set exactly as it was in my car when I dropped it off. They are even storing my spring tires for me at no charge. The quality of work is the best, it was done quickly and the whole process was easy. Overall, Audi of Wallingford treats their clients with respect, care, and excellent customer support. I have never experienced better customer service anywhere ever. Their attention to detail is incredible. I would highly recommend Richard Crane and Audi of Wallingford to anyone who wants excellent customer service and an inspired shopping experience. I can't image ever going anywhere else to buy a car or to get service. More
I have purchased 4 new Audis from this dealership. When I was looking for a new car, like most people, I was skeptical of the "game" of the buy. But after talking with the Manager Roseanne Vece, I believed i was looking for a new car, like most people, I was skeptical of the "game" of the buy. But after talking with the Manager Roseanne Vece, I believed in the integrity, knowledge and empathy that I had not found in another car dealership. I love cars and appreciate how Roseanne and Jim Anderson anticipated what I was looking for and used their extensive expertise to help make possible what I required in a vehicle. I truly cannot imagine going to a different dealership because of the relationship that we have forged. I trust this dealership as I also rely on the service that is provided by people like Mike Coughlin. When I bring my car to be serviced, what is needed is taken care of expediently and carefully. Even when I have driven into a pothole and am pressed for time to get back on the road, this dealership is there for its clients in a respectful and reassuring way. On visiting Audi of Wallingford, you can't help but feel the commitment that this team has to its customers and its cars. More
Just under two weeks ago, I decided to trade in my 2003 Saab 9-3 after 8 years of reliable Swedish performance. Sadly, my car showed "gearbox malfunction" that morning and I made an impetuous decision to buy a car. Prior to that day, I had researched the Audi as I believed it was most comparable to what I had been driving. Thus, I headed to Audi of Wallingford to make my dream a reality. I was greeted and welcomed by two pleasant gentlemen as I searched for the young man I spoke with earlier by phone. I was immediately introduced to Raj who offered me a beverage and a bagel as he finished prepping for my appointment (the tow truck arrived earlier than I expected). Raj was absolutely amazing. He was unbelievably knowledgeable, patient, and listened to my needs. He was thorough and took the time to explain the ins and outs of the vehicle. Given the time we spent together laughing and joking, I truly feel as though I met a new friend through this experience. Likewise, the general sales manager, Roseanne, was truly a gem. She understood my needs and concerns and met every expectation. Purchasing my Audi A4 was such an awesome experience, I wish I could return today to buy another one just to relive it. In the meantime, I am in pure bliss. I never thought I could fall in love with a car the way I absolutely love my Audi. I've been a customer of Audi of Wallingford for approximately two years and my experience has been great. Recently, I brought my car in for a major repair and my service technician, Mark Borse wa approximately two years and my experience has been great. Recently, I brought my car in for a major repair and my service technician, Mark Borse was wonderful. The dealership provided a loaner for the duration of the repair. Every time I bring my car in for service, I'm always greeted with a smile. Mark and his colleagues always manage to make me feel special (as they do with all of their customers). I would highly recommend Audi of Wallingford not only for their service (see Mark), but their showroom is always clean and the sales men and women are very friendly and knowledgeable. More
