HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH SALES AND OWNER!!!! STAY AWAY My first advice for every one. i would never step into this agency again I was humiliated, verbally abused and threatened by the owner of this agen My first advice for every one. i would never step into this agency again I was humiliated, verbally abused and threatened by the owner of this agency. It started with a phone call i made at 4 30 PM on 12/2/2017 trying to know till what time dealership is open. I am looking for cars and exploring the market. I have herd a lot about Audi Brand and wanted to see if i can drive home an Audi this June. Receptionist informed me that they will close at 5 PM. Since it was already 4 30 PM I was about to hang up when she asked me why i wanted to come. I told her of my intention, to this she stated that in case I am local I should stop by today. I informed her that I live 25 min away from the agency. To this I was told that I should stop by today. I asked the person if she is sure since the last thing I wanted to hear at the dealership is that they are closed considering the fact that i was being asked to come extremely close to the closing time. To this I was again told " no body is going to say that to me" and that " I should come today. I made 25 min drive to Wilmington DE thinking the dealership must have a policy of some one staying extended hour I reached the dealership at 5 PM and i was told they are closed, when i asked then why did the receptionist ask me to come i was first told i should have come 5 min earlier. They knew i would be making 25 min drive to reach their dealership. They could have simply requested me to come on a later day ????? At this time i felt wronged since i was going through something that i had clarified before and it was my fear. I was made to believe i will be attended to considering the circumstances and then very specifically refusing to attend to me. With no fault of mine. I felt my time has been wasted. Regardless I requested to be seen by a manager. The manager heard what i had to say and then asked me which car I wanted to see. I told him i am driving a Mercedes c 300 and looking to test drive Audi. He asked which exact model. To this I told them I wanted to be introduced to the models available. At this point the owner of the dealership interjected. I was not even talking to him. He never introduced himself. He just seemed angry. He started shouting and me and said I should either walk into his office and talk or get the xxxx out of his dealership. He made multiple derogatory statements like. I should stop yapping, I should get the xxxx out, he is the owner and it's his shop. I was surprised at being talked like this. I was not rude neither was I shouting at the people in the dealership. i was trying to make a point and was being firm but not rude and not loud. I did remind him that he is being very rude but he didn't care. In the back ground I was hearing receptionist say that i should have come 5 min earlier. Some how the owner thought that if he shouts and rudely tells me to either come to his office or walk out of his agency this is ok My horror didn't stop here. He apparently followed me to my car humiliating me. He was absolutely not parked next to me. He called me names; he said my car is a " 200 dollar piece of junk that i should drive home in" . Once i sat in my car to drive away he even opened the door of my car threatening me and only let me go once i reminded him i will call 911. Now here are my concerns: Its of course the dealerships responsibility to take ownership of the mistakes they have made. i did not make 25 min drive to get into an altercation. I did not ever want some one to stay back if they didn't want to in the after hours because of me. But if they made a mistake in calling me some one needs to take responsibility for that. Further NO ONE HAS A RIGHT TO BE RUDE !!! NO ONE HAS A RIGHT TO THREATEN SOME ONE When a customer walks in to a business center customer is vulnerable. its not customers home base, customer does not have friends there, the least agencies can do is be respectful. there is a res its called Customer EXPERIENCE Audi did loose a customer today because of this dealership and i am going to make sure my friends know about this experience I hope some one in the customer experinece listen to the phone conversation between the front desk and me and watches the video installed in the lobby and the video installed outside the dealership. I feel humiliated and abused. I have never been treated this way by any one. Not sure if this a race issue I suspect this is not the first time the dealership has behaved this way However all i can do is not go to this agency again warn my friends and who ever else i can reach out to. More
