The service managers were polite and friendly. The problem is at the management level. There is no transparency on what is going on. One month they only have 1 VW tech and no immediate help with an problem is at the management level. There is no transparency on what is going on. One month they only have 1 VW tech and no immediate help with an on engine...said to go somewhere else. Next, took 1 month to schedule an oil change....unheard of in our history with this dealership. Oh.....now we understand part of the problem....the service area is under construction. As a loyal VW customer maybe we would have been more understanding if management had even given us some hint as to what was going on rather than guess what the problem was. Unfortunately since they failed to inform their customers as to what was going on, they now have lost a loyal VW customer. By the way the computer service interval was not reset during the oil....first time ever. It makes me wonder whether the multipoint check was ever performed...wouldn't you wonder too?? More
the worst dealership in Spokane. They neglected to to tell us that their only Volkswagen tech had quit and gave us an estimated month of when the car can actually be worked on. I had the car towed there tell us that their only Volkswagen tech had quit and gave us an estimated month of when the car can actually be worked on. I had the car towed there prior to knowing this. And instead of being honest with us up front they lollygagged around keeping our car on their lot up until after a month had passed then told us they didn't have a tech to work on the car. It was a simple drop the tank and empty the fuel job. Also told us that they wanted to replace the fuel pump and the lines even though the vehicle was never turned on, even the key being turned. To tow it I released they manual switch on the transmission to be able to put it into neutral and park. Told them that, and they still wanted to charge me for the replacement of the fuel pump and lines. We said screw you guys and took it to Volkswagen in post falls where we have never had any issues and excellent quality service. Unlike this dealership, which will beat around the bush and then charge you more for work that isn't needed unless if they screwed up by turning on the ignition to check the mileage. More
It took 2 months to get an appointment for a broken trunk latch. Then it took 6 days to fix it. Once it was fixed they were unable to look at the other things I asked them to look at it.
