We purchased a brand new Audi three years ago from Audi Spokane. Included with the purchase was an Audi extended warranty and gap insurance. We decided to trade our Audi in for a Volkswagen as we wanted to Spokane. Included with the purchase was an Audi extended warranty and gap insurance. We decided to trade our Audi in for a Volkswagen as we wanted to have access to a service department in our town rather than driving 4 hours to get it serviced. It has been two months and numerous unanswered emails and unreturned calls trying to get a refund for the extended warranty and gap insurance. I emailed all the necessary documentation as well. In light of COVID I have been patient. However, two months of no response is unacceptable and unprofessional. More
WORST PLACE TO HAVE A CAR SERVICED Had my vehicle in for service several times, problems never resolved and new problems created each time. While my Audi was at their collision center t Had my vehicle in for service several times, problems never resolved and new problems created each time. While my Audi was at their collision center to have my windshield resealed, they damaged the front of the car and tried to hide it. Problem was never fixed, they scammed the insurance company for the work they never did and told me they would fix the damage the caused to the car. This is the 4th visit and MAJOR ISSUES EVERY TIME. I don't understand how they are still in business. Next Step, BBB complaint, AG complaint and Wrote a complaint to their Corporate office. This really sucks to deal with, and Holidays are near, now the car is not safe to drive, this dealer had my car for Three months out of last 7 while we keep making payments. This is wrong and would not advise for any customer to use this dealership, AVOID AVOID AVOID unless you want your car to be damaged and electrical to be tempered with. A Nightmare... Beware! I wouldn't leave a star at all, but unfortunately dealerRater does not give me that option. I'm writing this review so that other consumers are aware I wouldn't leave a star at all, but unfortunately dealerRater does not give me that option. I'm writing this review so that other consumers are aware of how this company does business. I'm not talking about Autonation as a whole because I've had a good experience at Audi Westmont in Chicago. I'm strictly talking about this dealer Audi of Spokane. I'd like to say that Rick (my service adviser) is a good employee who went above and beyond. He honestly is the reason I kept coming back until the dealer simply didn't give me a choice. On 05/19/19 I brought my 2016 Audi A6 Prestige TDI to be serviced under warranty for a bad dome light and the MMI screen not closing all the way when the vehicle is turned off. Invoice #764130. When I went to pick up my car I found my dash cam unplugged and my interior vent assembly damaged. I did not leave the dealership I showed Rick my service manager and he apologized for the inconvenience and assured me he would get the part on order to repair the damage that there tech caused. On 06/19/19 I brought my 2016 Audi A6 Prestige TDI to be service under warranty again for the MMI screen clicking and to replace the damaged vent assembly that there tech damaged on 05/19/19. They said they had a master tech work on my vehicle this time and apologized again. The tech fixed the clicking noise in the MMI screen and installed the new vent assembly and trim. Invoice # 765260. When I went to pick up the car I found the trim around my new vent assembly does not match. Rick agreed the vent trim did not match and said they would look into why. Fast forward to 08/21/19 the dealer could not find a vent assembly with the same trim for my vehicle. My trim is discontinued even though my car is not even 4 years old. I told Artie the GM of this dealer and Ray Jones the Service Manager that I am NOT satisfied with the repair on my $78,000 MSRP Audi A6. I gave the dealer 2 options that would satisfy me the customer #1 remove the trim off my old vent assembly that the dealers service tech damaged and install it on the new vent assembly that is not damaged. #2 Replace all the trim in the vehicle to match the new trim the dealer service tech has installed. Artie the GM has advised me that in his eyes the repair is done and that I can pay them per hour to reinstall the trim. At this point I'm furious It's been months and I understand a lot of that time was the dealer researching why they couldn't find the correct part but this is a unacceptable outcome to a very terrible experience to begin with. I will not let this dealer treat me this way and I've weighing out my options at this point. Audi of America has stated they do not agree with the dealers decision in this case but cannot force the dealer to do anything as they are ones who damaged the trim. Previous issues... I'm ashamed to say I've bought a new 2014 VW Jetta TDI at this dealer that when purchased was promised a body kit installed later that week before I went back to my home in North Dakota which ended up taking months after the purchase. I've had my 2012 Audi A6 Prestige 3.0 serviced here and I was told I needed $4500 in repairs when in reality I only needed a coolant valve and a new electrical plug. That was 25,000 miles ago... On that same service I was also charged an extra diagnostic fee so the tech could verify what coolant valve was leaking (the 3.0 engine only has 1 coolant valve on a 2012 A6). Strike #1 damaging my car and not being honest about it (I had to point out the damage) Strike #2 Making promises to repair and then backing out of promises (service manager Ray already agreed to try and swap my old trim on the new vent assembly) Strike #3 Artie telling me that my car isn't special, that it's worth 6k and he'll buy it from me if I'm not satisfied with repairs. He gave me his personal number then told me to stop calling it. (said it would be harassment). He will literally insult you and then ask why you are raising your voice. My car literally is 1 of 1 for 2016 (Audi Exclusive Package). Love Audi, hate this service. I know drive 4 hours away to university VW/Audi in Seattle. More
Don’t care about safety Wouldn’t recommend anyone to take their Audi to this dealership. I own an 2009 Audi A4, four years ago the Spokane Valley did the oil consumption settlement on the car. The car was consuming 1 1/2 quarts of oil a week. The dealership put new pistons and rings in the engine. About a year later the time chain tensioner fail, causing the engine to blow up. I have called around to other car manufacturers dealerships, they all said that Audi dealership should of put a new timing chain and tensioner when they put new pistons and rings in it. So the car was sitting in my garage for two years. Now in January of 2019 I was quoted 6,800 dollars for a new engine. I went ahead and had them do it, wife went to pickup the car and somehow the bill was 1000 dollars more than the quote. The car started making noises the next day. Called Xay the service manager he said it was probably flat spots in the tires from sitting for two years. So we took it to a tire store and there wasn’t any flat spots on the tires, the dealership forgot to thighten the lug nuts. I called Xay and informed him about the lug nuts not being tighten and ask if could look at the vehicle to double check there work because there’s still a noise from the engine when your driving it. Today, February 12, 2019 Xay informed me they wouldn’t be giving me a service loan to double check they’re work. Shows how much they care about their customers. I think they would what to make this right but I guess not. More

I called 7 times and got no responses, left messages with the service consultant, called the advisor and left a message, no one ever called me back. They told me several different stories on the phone when I was able to reach the front office. They told me they found a problem with my turbo. Then, they said there was never a problem and no one checked it yet. Then, they said they couldn't get ahold of the warranty people (which was a flat out lie). After two weeks of no returned calls, I went and picked my car up. Then, I took it to Europro. BEST PLACE EVER. They had my car for one hour, called me, told me the issue, said they already called the warranty place and it was covered. Then, two more hours later my car was done and ready for pick up. Do yourself a favor and take your car to EuroPro, I can't express my frustration with Audi, they're horrible. More
Check engine light appears, they refuse to fix I recently (08-16-2017) brought my 2012 Audi A3 Hatchback in for 2 Recalls that I received a letter for in the mail. One being ECU software update and I recently (08-16-2017) brought my 2012 Audi A3 Hatchback in for 2 Recalls that I received a letter for in the mail. One being ECU software update and the other for the Takata Air bag replacement. I took it to the Audi dealership in Spokane Valley at 10006 East Sprague. When I dropped the vehicle off it was in good running condition. No check engine lights. No mechanical issues at all and the lady at the front desk verified this as well, saying, she would have said something to the mechanics if any lights had been on. After 4 hours, I return to pick up my car, and when i get in to leave I realized my check engine light is on now. The mechanics brought the computer out and hooked it up to see what was wrong. It was throwing a code for the intake manifold flap sensor. I argued with the receptionist Melaia for a bit as she explained she was trying to find a way to get this resolved without it costing me anything. ?!?!?!?!? Why would it cost me anything? It wasn't like that when I dropped it off 4 hours ago!?! The manager came and spoke with me and said it was bad timing and they cant help that the part quit working while they had my car. He said they would do the labor for free but I had to pay $312 for a part that worked fine when I left my car with them! To me this is unacceptable business for a company like Audi. I have spent a great deal of money on owning an Audi and I would expect that my vehicle is in the same condition returned to me as it was when I dropped it off. The manager at this location was of no help and I have become beyond frustrated with being turned away and pretty much told too bad. I would very much appreciate Audi resolving the issue in regards to fixing the problem on my vehicle. It is only a$312 part, which isn't much to a company as successful as Audi but it sure would help keep a happy loyal owner. I have all paperwork saved from the work they did and the quote for fixing the sensor that quit working all the sudden. Like I said, this was not an issue before I took it to them. I have begun contacting people higher up to help resolve this quickly and easily. More

One time my car was in the shop for a water hose and it took 10 days to get it back. And if that's not bad enough I was in the dark for 8 of them. The other times my car was in the shop it always took multiple weeks to get the work done!!! I will never know why I went there more than once. Worst shop I have ever dealt with. More
Multiple bad and misleading interactions with this dealer Read this before you have any service done here!!! I’m extremely displeased after multiple bad and misleading interactions with this service departme Read this before you have any service done here!!! I’m extremely displeased after multiple bad and misleading interactions with this service department. I can't describe my level frustration. 1. I had my sunroof blown out by a rock requiring the glass to be replaced. First, somehow the original motor unit was electrically damaged while under repair requiring a whole new unit to be shipped from Germany, drastically lengthening the time of repair to weeks instead of days. After I got home I found black, greasy hand prints all over the white headliner. I then had to return the car to be cleaned. Then a few months later, after a strong rain at work, I find water puddled on my back seat from a major leak in the sunroof. I was forced to take the car back again for repairs as the unit was improperly installed. 3 trips to fix one issue. Time is money. 2. The same car is then in for an Audi recall regarding excessive oil consumption. This is a process that involves multiple service appointments in close succession, to carefully measure the rate of oil consumption. In the middle of this process two small leaks are supposedly identified, one of which will prevent the oil consumption test from proceeding. After questioning the service adviser as to why these leaks weren't identified and noted at prior inspections and how it seems suspicious that they should creep up in between the last inspection, the adviser changes his story and said that "he did a poor job of explaining the issue" and then offers to replace the seal in question for parts only (very small) cost. The test continues and the other leak (water pump) magically cures itself after I specifically request that it is investigated, no explanation given. 3. Finally the same car fails the oil consumption test and qualifies for the piston and ring replacement under Audi's warranty. This involves removing the entire engine from the car and replacing the pistons and rings. 5 months down the road I discover a massive oil leak pooling under the car after a check engine light comes on. This is diagnosed as a leaking rear main seal. As it seems that this is awfully close to the engine rebuild to have a catastrophic oil leak I called the service department. I was told that the car would have to be towed to the dealer to be inspected, but there was no way it would be covered as warranty to the rebuild. This information is given to me indirectly over the phone. When I ask to speak directly with a service adviser I'm placed on hold and disconnected. Following this I called around to other Audi service departments and independent mechanics. I find that the rear main seal is required to be removed in order to remove the upper oil pan as part of the engine rebuild service. Thus the rear main seal part was removed and the seal disturbed in the rebuild process but it was not replaced. According to Audi of America services are warrantied for 12 months or 12K miles. Talking to other mechanics they say this is an unfortunate situation but their policy is to warranty things they alter in their repairs and that it’s the right thing to do. Unfortunately it seems Audi Spokane operates differently. Now I’m left with an inoperable car and when I call to discuss the issue I’m hung up on. More

They states they would use a used or refurbished engine. When my wife picked up the car they put a brand new engine it without telling us. When my wife cried because of the price they asked what price would be acceptable. I guess they just assume they can swindle anyone. Never have I had to negotiate a mechanics bill. Nice car. The manual explains how to access the receptacle for the front tow hook. (It screws into a threaded hole behind a "removable" plastic fairing.) You remove this plastic cover on the passenger side of the front grill. Poor instructions as to how to do that without breaking off the plastic tabs holding it on. I pulled a little here and there but not knowing just how and not wanting to break them off I made the trip (last week on April 20) into Spokane from Sandpoint and explained to the service guy that I wanted them to remove it for me so I would know how in case I ever needed to use the tow hook. He gets his "expert" service tech out there and after studying it for maybe 5 seconds, grabs it and pulls nice and hard. It comes right off with a pop! See, no problem. I look down at the part and both plastic tabs are broken off. When I point this out he says "They aren't really needed to hold it in anyway.". I explain that I want a new part since that is exactly why I had them (the experts) remove it instead of me, so it wouldn't get damaged. He takes me into the parts dept and the guys says "We have one in stock. That'll be $270 (But we can take a little off for you today.). After escalating the discussion (and my blood pressure) (a lot) and getting all the guilty parties together the service manager finally brings out the new part and hands it over. No "We're sorry". No nothing. I guess my unreasonable request to replace what THEY broke was going to cause all their children to go without lunch that week. (The $270 plastic part probably cost Audi all of $10) I sure wish there was another choice for Audi service in the inland nortwest. More
