Overall great experience. Made offer over the Internet. Was contacted next day by Jason and he made the offer work. Came down to pick-up the car, it was fully detailed and in the front row waiting for me. Was contacted next day by Jason and he made the offer work. Came down to pick-up the car, it was fully detailed and in the front row waiting for me. Was in and out in about an hour..wow that's a first! Had an issue with the car after I left and Chris worked with me to resolve...great after sale effort to keep me happy! Great car, great price, great service! Will definitely recommend this dealership and will be back for my next car. Thank you Appleway, Jason and Chris for solving my mid-life crisis with a new to me porsche! More
Overall working with Appleway Audi/VW was a great experience. My salesman was Brock and Chris. I didn't feel like it was just a sale, they took the time to walk my wife and I through the entire proce experience. My salesman was Brock and Chris. I didn't feel like it was just a sale, they took the time to walk my wife and I through the entire process and it didn't feel sales(e) in the least. Both Brock and Chris were knowledgeable about the vehicles. We ended up getting an A4 Avant and liked the dealership enought to go back the next week to purchase a Jetta TDI Spotwagen. I would not hesitate to send friends and family to Appleway Audi/VW More
I had a 2002 Jetta TDI (that was purchased from this dealership in 2002) that I wanted to trade in for an SUV. I got hooked up with Adrian from the start, and searched with him for a used car. A few mon dealership in 2002) that I wanted to trade in for an SUV. I got hooked up with Adrian from the start, and searched with him for a used car. A few months later, we decided we should purchase a new vehicle. I was happy to say that I still got to work with Adrian. I also worked with another dealership in Bellevue as I was willing to travel for a good deal. My vehicle had 74,000 miles on it, aftermarket wheels with new tires, stocks with newer tires, great gas mileage, and ran awesome. We also went to Foothills Lincoln Mazda and was told they would only give me $3000 for my car... less than rough trade in on NADA.com (which is $4500.00). I wanted to pay off the current loan and still have a good down payment on a new vehicle. I dealt with both Adrian and his supervisor Chris for several days. I test drove one, and we finalized on the model. Upon showing up to potentially purchase the vehicle on August 17th, 2012; we were off by $1000 for which I wanted for my vehicle. I talked with Chris and he agreed to meet me 1/2 way at $7500 for my vehicle, which is better than clean retail for my vehicle. They cleaned up my new vehicle, filled up the tank with gas, and was even supportive of me when I got emotional letting go of my first car. I had the vehicle for 3 days, and noticed a scratch/scuff in the clear coat on the hood after washing it for the first time. I contacted Adrian, and they immediately agreed for me to bring in the vehicle and buff it out, as well as some swirls. (I got a black vehicle so swirls are HARD not to notice). I worked with the Service Dept, Jeff, and while he was also nice, polite and kind, I found there to be a disconnect between setting up the appointment for the buffing of my car with the sales team, the service department, and the renovation department. I had to bring it back a second time for the work to be completed. I understand that a particular salesman may make a promise that the service department can't keep, however, I did find this frustrating as the customer. I have yet to have any work done on my new vehicle; with only 5,500 miles this is to be expected; but when I do, I will make sure that my manufactures warranty, as well as the extended warranty are fully functional in any issues that may arise. Overall, I was very pleased with the service I was provided by Adrian, Chris & Jeff. I do recommend the dealership and advise anyone that you need to be a smart customer. With the reviews that the dealership charged an arm & a leg for repairs is kind of saying that a duck swims... is to be expected. More
We've bought 2 cars from them--the most hassle-free car experiences ever. They have gone out of their way to accommodate us (we live 90 miles away) and we have never had a bad experience with them in 14 ye experiences ever. Took our jetta to the dealership a month ago because the coolant was leaking. Dealership replaced the radiator to the amount of almost $800. A week later the car was overheating and son was stranded on th coolant was leaking. Dealership replaced the radiator to the amount of almost $800. A week later the car was overheating and son was stranded on the way to work. He got the car back to the dealer where they looked it over and found out that they forgot to hook up the cooling fans when they replaced the radiator. A month later coolant was leaking again. We took it back to the dealership where they quoted almost $900 to relplace a switch in the radiator, the water pump and the coolant resevoir which they said was fine the month before. When challenged on why these repairs were not deemed necessary a month before, we were told that the parts apparently overheated since the radiator was replaced and they weren't responsible for them failing. When reminded that they were the ones that didn't hook up the cooling fans to begin with we were told they couldn't do anything about that. Needless to say they will never see us again nor will anyone else we talk to. More
My car was acting up so I made an appointment to take it in for service. I drove it in and while they had it, they blew up my motor. After much negotiation about the fact that it was our fault, and severa in for service. I drove it in and while they had it, they blew up my motor. After much negotiation about the fact that it was our fault, and several weeks of no car and no service, and them telling us that it would be $4000 to fix and they talked to the manufacturer and they weren't going to pay for anything, my husband finally called corporate and told our story. They were very punctual about getting back to us, and in the end it was covered 100%. Appleway was in fact at fault. When we went to pick up our vehicle, the service guy talked themselves up and told us how hard they worked and how Tony went to bat for us and he was glad that it worked out in our favor. Are you kidding me? They didn't do anything, but tell us that we had to pay for it. My husband is the one who was proactive and talked to the corporate office and got this horrible situation taken care of. I will never shop appleway again. More
Took my wife's Tiguan in for a break squeek and Jeff said he'd see what he could find. Jeff called me back and let me know there was a campaign on her model and put new brakes on her car, taking away the noi he'd see what he could find. Brought 2002 Jetta in for a simple 100K service (oil change and filter change). First thing is the service writer locks the keys in the car and says it's a door malfunction (never happened before in 10 change and filter change). First thing is the service writer locks the keys in the car and says it's a door malfunction (never happened before in 10 years, but maybe... ) Cost $400+ to fix (no thank you). Then when the service is done, they tell me that the serpentine belt needs to be replaced. I JUST did that on my last service with THE SAME dealership and this cost me over $1200. And if you look at the belt it looks brand new, so it is an obvious lie to get money (oh, they couldn't find the records of this service either) And finally they charged me $271 for a simple oil change and filter change. This is beyond ridiculous and I will never go to a dealer again for service unless it's an absolute last resort. More
Apppleway Volkswagen SUCKS!!!! Don't buy a car from them. Their service department is full of incompetent jerks that will do anything to screw you over. The cars suck too. I was in there at least once or twice a month for a year getting things fixed then taking it back because they didn't fix it right. I traded in the POS lemon and I'll never go back! More
