Damien has been our service manager for the past (almost) 6 years. We have always appreciated his impeccable service- this last service was started with another service manager, and although the service was 6 years. We have always appreciated his impeccable service- this last service was started with another service manager, and although the service was satisfactory, the contrast couldn’t have been more stark. I really can’t say how top-notch and exceptional Damien is a service manager. He goes out of his way to make you feel the warmest welcome possible, he provides incredible clarity about the service and will spend an extraordinary amount of time to provide you with clarity about your service or repair and the necessity or optionality of the service, and the specific particulars. More than all of this, he is a genuinely wonderful person and the advice you get is the same as if you were his family. We are moving out of San Diego and it is so unfortunate for us that we won’t have his help in the future, Damien is a crown jewel in the Audi family. I could not recommend him more highly. I am immensely grateful for his service over the years with our vehicles. More

Still have not corrected the problem w/the starting issue Q 5 would intermittently not start, was told it was starter by another foreign car repair, had it replaced, was not the starter. We replaced the batte Q 5 would intermittently not start, was told it was starter by another foreign car repair, had it replaced, was not the starter. We replaced the battery with the recommended replacement battery worked fine for about 3-4 months. Than same issue , would only click, starter would not engage. Brought the car to Audi San Diego, was told battery was good .....than they said need a special AUDI battery programed for the car $960.00! told them from internet research problem was a loose wire. Installed new battery, picked up car came home, next day car would not start, towed car back to dealer, few days later, was informed that they did not connect the alternator, that was the problem, came back to dealer, car wouldn't start at the dealer. Approx. week later was told was a pinched wire car was fixed, two days later car would not start again, wiggled the battery cables and car started, believe the problem is the battery cabling....or cellonide. Have not been back. PS understand with covid 19 they may have not been to full force but this has not be fun . More

consistently disappointing The dealership/service center on MiraMar Road in San Diego fails to satisfy in both sales and service. After three years of using this dealership I fi The dealership/service center on MiraMar Road in San Diego fails to satisfy in both sales and service. After three years of using this dealership I find the leadership and/or practices used in the service department to be oddly below average. Even with an appointment service curstomers frequently wait for 30-45 min to drop off their car. I think the method used to process in-coming service customers is inefficient and the department probably also lacks effective leadership to implement improvement. Compared to the service at San Diego Mercedes, this Audi service department is pitiful. Likewise, sales is also lacking in good customer service. For example when I picked up my new etron , the battery was not charged. Why would I buy a vehicle with an electric option if I didn't want to use it? When I asked I was told the charging station is on the "other side" of the building and thus inconvenient for sales to use. The representatives were also poorly informed in general about the etron and gave incorrect information about charging. In fact, I returned later to the dealership to give them a lesson in how to charge the vehicle. Audi makes a quality car but if you buy, lease, or service one I suggest trying another dealership. I am glad I don't have to use this dealership anymore. More
