Sal solved a really annoying problem with steering wheel shimmy I had in my 09 A4. He was insistent that he would not give the car back to me unless it was perfect. I had my doubts because I had a similar problem years ago with another A4 that never got resolved. So after multiple attempts at balancing, replacing control arm bushings and then finally swapping out the OE lower control arms for the newer 75mm ones with liquid filled bushings problem solved! I am thrilled to have the problem fixed but more impressed with Sal's commitment to excellent customer service and satisfaction. I have 100% confidence that any problem I bring to your dealership in the future will be resolved. On top of that, my aftermarket warranty would not cover the control arm swap because it was considered and upgrade and not a repair. Sal was able to take care of the cost of this through a fund you guys have for such things. I have never experienced this level of customer care at any other dealership and have already told several other Audi owners about it. A friend of mine had a recurring problem with and S6 that he was forced to get rid of because his dealership would not help him get to the bottom of it. I would like to commend Sal who treated me exceptionally well recently. I hope that approach will continue in the future. George Androsavitch is a fine salesman and a lovely person. Kudos to George and Sal and the numerous other employees who greet me personally by name and with a warm smile. It is appreciated. My wife and I have purchased numerous Audis. We always try to be courteous and appreciative and feel like good and loyal customers who deserve to be treated well. I feel that we are, although this was not always the case in the service department. We did like Jay personally. Something seems to have changed with the attitude of the staff. This usually comes from the top and I must assume that this has happened since the change in ownership. No one can take their customers for granted in this day and age and expect to be successful. To me there are several factors that are imperative. 1. Fair and honest treatment 2. Thorough and expert service that is done right the first time 3. Car needed a fuse replaced and a loaner was provided for my use. Service department called within 24 hours and provided an update of my vehicle. Friday night my A4 Audi displayed a "Break Light Out" symbol on the dash panel. Saturday morning I arrived at the dealership unannounced at 8:00 am. I was immediately greeted by Sharon and was advised that my minor repair could be handled immediately. I was back on the road by a few minutes after 9:00 AM. Nothing to do with the dealership, but I wonder why simple things like changing a light bulb on an Audi cannot be accomplished by the owner? Is this what is meant by" Truth in Engineering"? More
Had a flat in my 2004 Honda near their dealership. They were very helpful and understanding. They inspected the flat and let me know it was not repair-able. They searched and found tires in stock that mi were very helpful and understanding. They inspected the flat and let me know it was not repair-able. They searched and found tires in stock that might be a match, but when they investigated further, they said it would not be safe because this particular tires were not listed on the door sticker as options. So, rather than try to sell me inappropriate tires, or make me wait until they tried to find tires at another dealership, they put my spare (doughnut) tire on and suggested some retailers they felt would definitely have the tires I needed in stock. They told me there was no charge before they did the work. Within about 10 minutes they returned to let me know the spare was on. I asked if I could pay for their service. They said, "no" and that they were sorry they couldn't be more helpful. Can you imagine this kind of service from an auto dealership in 2013? Honestly, before this experience - I could not. I don't own an Audi, but I would definitely consider having my car serviced there, and the next time I'm in the market for a new car, you can be sure Audi Reading will be getting a visit from me. More
