Service Reps Technically Inept I took my vehicle in for a 75,000 mile service and mentioned that a check engine light had recently come on, I should have kept my mouth shut about th I took my vehicle in for a 75,000 mile service and mentioned that a check engine light had recently come on, I should have kept my mouth shut about the light; they charged $140 to do a diagnosis for the light in addition to the $650 they charge to do the 75,000 mile service and when questioned told me that they would not have diagnosed the light during the normal service process; really? Then they came back with a diagnosis as to the cause of the check engine light which my husband questioned because it did not make sense, the service rep was not technically trained enough to answer any of the questions so my husband supplied him with very specific technical information to ask the technician to look at again so that we did not have to bring the car back again because it was not fixed properly the first time, sure enough they had missed the correct diagnosis the first time. They did credit us some monies back do to the incorrect diagnostic but the service rep Brian was extremely rude throughout the entire encounter, if there was an option for another service center closer I would without a doubt go somewhere else. More
