BEWARE of Audi North Austin, they will gouge you for every penny you have. I need to replace my alternator/voltage regulator so I figured I might as well replace the water pump while I am at it. I also wanted a quote for the positive battery cable. I called Audi South and was told there were 2 possible alternators so I got a quote for both. The Bosche $175 and the Valeo was $205 Then I called Audi north hoping that they could determine which one to order. They quoted me $575 for the Valeo and $620 for the Bosche, $450 for the positive power cable and $130 for a water pump……… ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND???? I then asked the guy in the parts department, “ Why would one Audi Dealership quote me one price and you guys quote a different price, are you guys independent and just make up whatever process you want?” I then sat quiet on the phone waiting for him to answer me. About 45 seconds later he sheepishly replied, “Yes.” I told him to have a good day and hung up. I thought they would be honest since they were the dealership. After I located the parts I needed I was going to ask to be transferred to service for an install quote thinking they might be expensive but I would know I am not getting ripped off. Service Manager provides horrible customer service. I have had two Audis, never had good service. At my most recent service they failed to correct the problem but provides horrible customer service. I have had two Audis, never had good service. At my most recent service they failed to correct the problem but charged me 700$. I returned and they identified a new $700 problem. I asked for an apology on the first work and the service manager asked me who made me boss. My response, you did when I bought an Audi. Horrible. More
HATE THE SERVICE Took my 2012 Audi A4 in for service four times and twice they had to recharge my car battery. On December 26,2015 took it in for a new battery. Of course the warranty had expired two month earlier I was told. When I question the service advisor about my battery being bad the last time I was in for service, his response was maybe. I ask why the battery wasn't changed then? he said because it probably wasn.t bad. My response was if you had to recharge the battery twice and I drive the car everyday then the battery had to be bad. A battery don't go from being bad to good unless it's changed. what a rip off this place is. I have had nothing but problems with my car since I purchased it. The service people are a joke. The buying experience is great but the service experience is a real joke. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. I am filing a complaint with BBB. Next time I will buy a BMW. More
