Bait and Switch This is my third Audi. I called up the service center this morning, and asked to have my car serviced. I was told I could come in at 10:30. So far This is my third Audi. The woman on the telephone told me that there would be no charge because it was my first service for 5,000 miles. When I came in, however, (a half hour drive) I was told that I did not qualify for the free first service because of how long I owned the car (about 2 years). This is so even though they knew precisely how long I had the car because I bought the car from the dealership. Instead they said the cost would be $400. I felt like there was a bait and switch. I asked for my keys back and left. Not a good way to treat a long time Audi customer. To the dealership's credit, once I complained, they immediately responded and took corrective action. They invited me to bring my car back and honored the promise of free service. Now, that is the proper way to provide good service. More
