Ripped off with Extended Warranty I bought a 2012 Audi in Feb. 2015 from Audi of Naples. I wanted to keep it for several years but knew German cars are expensive to fix when they get I bought a 2012 Audi in Feb. 2015 from Audi of Naples. I wanted to keep it for several years but knew German cars are expensive to fix when they get older. I asked about extended warranties and the finance guy talked me into a 7-year/100,000 miles warranty for $3248. I said I didn't think I'd keep the car for 7 years and he said, "don't worry, if you trade it in before that you'll get value on the trade-in." So I went for 7 years. When I went to use the warranty recently I was told it was for 7 years "from when the car went into service in 2012." That's BS. That's not what I bought and not what the contract says. Getting a lawyer is too expensive so I'll just tell everyone I know not to trust these people. More
