ATTENTION!!! EVERYBODY READ THIS! MR. MCGRATH PLEASE READ THIS! First of all I'd like to say that I have never experienced anything like that ever in my life. Being a small business owner I understand how important is the customer satisfaction and the proper business etiquette. I would never assume that something like that might happen in a business of the size of McGrath Audi dealership. After a service visit on 24 January 2013 I went to McGrath to do the recommended maintenance. The service manager Terry Trickatt refused to give me service and literally told me to get out of the store. He advised me to take my car to a different dealership and said that I'm not welcome to the McGrath auto group. He repeatedly asked me why did I leave such a low score on the telephone survey that I filled in after my service visit on 01/24/2013. This whole conversation is happening in front of all the service advisors, waiting customers, receptionist and the cashier. I was in such a shock I was unable to speak. Then Terry asked me in front of everybody "Do you speak English?". I've never felt so humiliated and discriminated in my life. In my opinion surveys are created so that customers can express their experiences freely. Discussing an outcome of a survey in front of a customer and employees is outrageous and unacceptable. Refusing to give service to a potential customer based on a survey results is unprofessional and borderline insane. Tonight I was ready to spend more than $2000 service based on their recommendation but apparently I have to find a dealership with integrity and professionalism. If I was the owner of a large chain of dealerships in the Chicagoland area I'd be very careful who I hire and I would demand that they treat my customers with respect and professionalism. More

We went to McGrath Audi specifically to purchase a vehicle and were quite surprised with the vehicles and Gabriel Orelove. We drove several autos and decided on the Q5 sport model and are very deligh vehicle and were quite surprised with the vehicles and Gabriel Orelove. If it were not for the excellent service and knowledge of your inventory as provided by Gabriel Orelove... as he is on top of his game... knows his cars, the technology, everything about the vehicles, the service, etal we probably would have left... very impressive. We commend his people and auto knowledge skills! He was most objective and helpful in our purchase. The financial group was also marvelous in working with us to make this happen. All around excellent dealer with absolute top ratings... We would rate Gabriel in the highest category of sales and marketing... and most important customer service. The vehicle is a prize winner...Audi has done a great job! It is also interesting that McGrath keeps their people, highly unusual in this business... that meant a lot that they care about their people, and the people then care about the customer. More

I live in Minneapolis and traveled to Chicago to find the car I wanted, and absolutely worth the trip. Customer service is exceptional at this dealership. Our sales rep took the time needed and was very detailed on the car delivery process, plus his knowledge about the features of the brand made the process very smooth. Kodi also did a great job with the financing process, she found the best options for us and all of the paperwork was done promptly, we also were very please with this aspect of the purchase. I hope our local dealer at Minneapolis (Carousel, not friendly at all) could learn from this excellent team at McGrath; we are going to miss the experience of the service and maintenance because the distance, but I am pretty sure that my next car (Audi Q5 TDI) will be delivered by Audi McGrath. I traded my 2013 Porsche Cayenne for a 2013 Audi Q7 S-Line. I was very upfront on my expectations (price) and Nick met the challenge. The vehicle was prepped and ready for me when I arrived. Fred inflated"costs"; and prices, wasted our time, and maniuplated us from the start. He sent us away telling us a price on a car which was $2900 higher that what was posted online. He talked about warranty costs for which other salespeople in the dealership quoted lower prices. He wasted hours of our time pretending to process paperwork and "await a confirmation email" that even the people in the dealership said he didnt do. When he encoutered something he didn't understand, he'd disappear without explanation for minutes at a time, then come back with some opaque babble. He continuously worked the phones with other customers while we sat at his desk waiting for hours. Worst of all, he was summarily unapologetic about it all. I would never buy a car from this salesperson or a from dealer that covers for this guy. He was the epitome of shady, and treated us with a casual indifference that made the entire experience ... in a word... crappy. Therefore, I can't in good conscience recommend this dealer, especially when we receieved great customer service from another Audi dealer, Fletcher Jones, and so wished we'd found our car there instead. (Fred's savior on the deal was the adept and polite Sales Manager Patrick Law, who came in and mopped up Fred's disaster, conciliated us with his attention and sticker adjustments, and followed through personally. We were impressed by Patrick's tact and inititative to help us. He's the right guy to be in charge.) More
