Written price quotes are just fantasy with these guys Was looking for a used SQ5 with low miles. Test drove the car with Stacy Gordon from the Mission Viejo location on 12/8/18 to make sure I liked it, wh Was looking for a used SQ5 with low miles. Test drove the car with Stacy Gordon from the Mission Viejo location on 12/8/18 to make sure I liked it, which I did, and then started looking around for a slightly used SQ5 so I could stay within my budget. Got calls and texts from Stacy and Jennifer Rogers about possibly finding a new SQ5 for slightly more than I wanted to pay for used. I was interested and because it was the end of the year, they seemed to be trying to move the 18's so I gave them a chance. I literally gave them a list with the exact car I was looking for including color, inside and out, sport package, Prestige model, and Nappa leather interior. I was looking for slightly used, but Stacy said he could get the "EXACT"car I wanted NEW for a (Blank), price. It was more than I wanted to spend and I had to move things around and get my wife to agree with the increase to make it happen, so I spent the day doing that (12/11/18) and made it work. I responded later that night with, please call me, I wanted to start the deal. Never heard from Stacy, I guess he went home sick, Jennifer left a message letting me know. When Stacy did call the next day, I found out he hadn't done any research and had to "locate the car" which was surprising since he gave me a quoted price. When he did find one, it was now going to cost more because it had leather to which I was like, what? I had that on the list, but now it was going to cost me $1700 more than what he quoted me in writing the day before even though the Nappa leather is only a $1200 add on and IT WAS ON MY LIST!. I was really upset and told Stacy how I felt, he didn't have anything to say accept I was wrong and hadn't asked for leather (I have the emails to prove otherwise). Later that day, Jennifer called me and said Stacy made a mistake about the heads up display and that's why the car would cost more now (FYI all Prestige models come standard with heads up display). I think she mentioned 3 different reasons (excuses) why they couldn't do the deal now, all of which weren't true, as to why I had to pay the additional $1700, really crazy to listen to. I don't know, but this sure isn't the way you do business in 2018, people have choices and can see what the cars are going for, it's not rocket science. KEEP YOUR WORD and do what you said (I have your email quote in writing with exactly what you said) how hard is that? Isn't there some kind of rules about this in CA? BUYER BEWARE, they will try to bait and switch just to get you in to make a deal. I've contacted the Better Business Bureau in CA and filed a complaint. Never had an experience like this. Go somewhere else! More
