Marine goes to buy an Audi RS model -- Audi Mission Viejo stocked the ONLY RS Q8 that I was in the market to purchase in the state of California. I’ve read many reviews, before and after my purchase, and this is my honest and unadulterated review of my purchase experience. There were no Audi special finance rates or incentives on this unit and interest rates otherwise are extremely high in the marketplace among all automobile manufacturers of specialty vehicles. I initially contacted the dealership with an inquiry of the unit being in stock because the website MSRP sticker stated “SOLD.” It was in stock, verified by Chris So. Chris’ customer service was above excellent – no pressure and amiable to deal with. Chris met my request for verification of sticker and video of exterior and interior of the unit. One might think that these are customary, they are actually a necessity before a decision to visit a dealership. I set my appointment for a couple of days later, on a Sunday morning. Chris had thoroughly communicated with me in several telephone conversations; and that I would later deal with another salesman after his initial overview with me of the unit. Tim Fitzsimmons would actually walk me through the vehicle features and a thorough test drive. Tim was also amiable to deal with during the negotiation process – no pressure. The negotiation process also involved the trade of my 2022 Porsche Cayenne (base unit) purchased during COVID timeframe (that’s interesting long story because of limited supply and availability). Tim was very knowledgeable on the features of the unit and did an excellent job post sale of further features and the initial set up of the myAudi app and the MMI. Between my negotiations with Tim and the salesman manager, Uttam Oli, we came to an amenable RS Q8 selling price and trade in figures. Uttam was instrumental in finalizing the deal. Chris, Tim and Uttam were very professional. I did come prepared with my own financing, as everyone should do (with multiple financing sources). The back office, you know it well, the Finance and Insurance office (F&I); Anthony Holguin, the finance manager was very informative while accommodating my various scenarios to finalize my options. And I must mention Farhad Yousofzai (Mo), a finance manager with whom I finished with my own financing a few days later. Mo was very constant with what seemed to be an uncharacterized delay in my credit union’s authorization process via phone. Taken together, I couldn’t find my desired Audi RS Q8 specifications in the Inland Empire where I live and traveled the considerable distance just to “take a look” in Mission Viejo. It was well worth the time, miles and tolls required to purchase exactly what I wanted and nothing less. I would recommend anyone interested in an Audi purchase to shop around for competitive pricing BUT GIVE SERIOUS CONSIDERATION to the Mission Viejo Audi dealership. I did and now part of the Audi Family! More
PIT OF SNAKES Today we picked up a reimbursement check for a NEW Audi Q5e that they sold us that was legally determined to be a LEMON. It took 10 WEEKS filled with LIES, DECEIT, GHOSTING, MISINFORMATION a for a NEW Audi Q5e that they sold us that was legally determined to be a LEMON. It took 10 WEEKS filled with LIES, DECEIT, GHOSTING, MISINFORMATION and DISRESPECT. They denied the car had a problem and they were going to let my wife a DEFECTIVE car on a long distance trip. Both AudI corporate, the dealer and the parent company, Unbeatable Automotive Group knew the new the car was defective and did everything in their power to wiggle out of ending up owning a BRICK. We had to fight tooth and nail to get an appropriate reimbursement, although we received nothing for the way that they treated us. I will never buy another car from Mission Viejo Audi or any dealership owned by the Unbeatable Automotive Group. I suggest you be very very careful. This is a PIT of SNAKES... top to bottom. More
Horrible Dealership. Dishonest and lie to prospective buyers. They "sold" me an Audi S5, then sold my car to someone else and said "of gee sorry about that"..... Do not Dishonest and lie to prospective buyers. They "sold" me an Audi S5, then sold my car to someone else and said "of gee sorry about that"..... Do not buy from these shifty salesman and sales managers they are not honest or trustworthy and their word means nothing. A bunch of crooks in my experience. BTW, just bought a beautiful Audi convertible from Beemer and Beenz in Scottsdale and the experience was great. Do not buy from Mission Viejo Audi!! More
Wow, what a shady bunch of low integrity dealer operators these people are. Was trying to buy a used Audi S5 Convertible, working with Shane Segal over text, email and phone. We agreed to a deal and locked d these people are. Was trying to buy a used Audi S5 Convertible, working with Shane Segal over text, email and phone. We agreed to a deal and locked down price and terms and I booked flight in to pick up the car. (Have homes in North Cal & AZ). Had Certified check cut at my bank and ready to FedX to them (again, as agreed) and then received text message that they sold the car to someone else! This after receiving a congratulation video about buying the car and speaking directly with their sales consultant. He blames me getting screwed on his management (Eric Hunter) but I blame their overall lack of integrity as an organization. The fish usually rots from the head down. My advice?? Take your money and business elsewhere..... In my experience, Audi of Mission Viejo lies and will not keep their word, even after a deal/contract is agreed. Go to another dealership, buy BMW or another brand. Consumer reports Audi terrible in terms of repairs and costs to maintain. Car Salesman, Dog catchers & politicians are typically low integrity.....these guys are worse. More
I bought my Audi S3 for service in order to fix a recall on the car, the passenger airbag didn't work. Audi called me in order to schedule an appointment and get the airbag fixed, since I bought the car fro on the car, the passenger airbag didn't work. Audi called me in order to schedule an appointment and get the airbag fixed, since I bought the car from them with the recall at the time of purchase a few years earlier. I had to take a day off at work and drive down to Mission Vejo from LA. I was told the service would have taken the whole day, so I planned on spending the day in Mission Vejo with the courtesy car. Instead, as I dropped the car, they told me it would have been ready in a few days. Bummer. In the end, I picked up the car after 2 days, drove back to LA, and realized the nothing was done on my car. The passenger airbag is still not working and the alert light is still on. A waste of time, money on gas and beyond. On top of that, since I was there for the service, I thought it was a good idea to have a copy of the only key I had done by Audi. (yes, when they sold me the car I only received one copy). I was told I had to pay $480 for the key, which I paid right away, and expecting to have the key done at the same time the service was done. Once I picked up the car, the key was ready. They asked me an additional $280 for the key. When I asked why I wasn't told about this additional $280 to begin with, I was blasted with stupid excuses, such as - the $280 are for the key batteries and programming. I would have much appreciated transparency and professionalism. Not at this dealership. More
I purchased a car in July and 3 weeks later I had major issues with the Ac system that required thousands of dollars in repair. After reaching out to the dealership, I was completely ignored. They have not issues with the Ac system that required thousands of dollars in repair. After reaching out to the dealership, I was completely ignored. They have not taken any accountability and will not even have a discussion with me or return my phone calls. I highly recommend looking elsewhere to purchase new or used vehicles and will not be buying from this dealership again. More
I purchased my car 6 months ago in Cash and I still haven’t received my title and they wont call me back, they just blame Audi directly. WORST experience, entitled chauvinistic attitudes, specifically haven’t received my title and they wont call me back, they just blame Audi directly. Had a really bad experience with the service element of this organization. My Q5 shut down suddenly on a busy road. I had to have AAA tow it to MV Audi and the technicians did nothing to help the tow truck so my car was damaged being unloaded. Audi didn't notify me of the damage for 24 hours. They had my car for two full days without completing any diagnostic work. Eventually I went in and sat down with the Managing Partner, who offered a lot of excuses. I would up having my vehicle towed to Fletcher Jones. More
