My name is Alan Palma, Service Manager at DCH Millburn Audi. After our phone conversation, I am Very sorry to hear you feel that I have ignored your phone calls. I am here to help clients not ignore or send them away and I return all calls as soon as possible and I am also available to be contacted by email. My staff and I work diligently every day to delight our clients as any successful business should. I find your situation unusual because if someone has a concern with our workmanship they either contact the receptionist or anyone of the service staff. They are all trained to assist clients in most every situations but if for any reason they can’t they then turn it over to a member of the management staff. I am always available unless my schedule prohibits it. I can assure you, had I received your phone messages at any time I would have returned the call the minute I was available. In regards to the service work you speak of, all our work is covered by an industry standard warranty for 12 months or 12,000 miles whichever occurs first which also is backed by the parts manufacturer. After reviewing your vehicle history I see we in fact replaced a fuel pump and filter with a genuine Audi Part which carries a 12month/12000 mile warranty on October 24,2005 while your vehicle was still under your no cost manufacturer’s warranty. I’m not sure when the filter actually failed after our installation but if you have a receipt I may be able to provide some assistance if the part was still under any type of warranty. As for the Valve cover gasket that you had replaced on October 29th,2010 that part also carried a 12 month /12000milewarranty and would be honored by any Audi dealer during that warranty period. According to our records, after you noticed a leak you chose to go somewhere else to have it diagnosed. Once you knew it was a faulty valve cover gasket again that needed to be replaced, we would have gladly repaired it under the guidelines of the warranty had you brought the car to us to be serviced. Again if you have paid receipts for those repairs please feel free to stop by and I will review them with you to see if there something I can do for you.
