I have been looking for either an Audi or a BMW in a very specific price range over the last few months. Finally, I found an 2008 Audi A4 in my price range with 68000 miles on it at Sun Motors. Their Internet price had just been dropped by their Internet manager , Adam Mann, and he helped me through a series of emails to accurately explain the car to me. I live in State College, Pa, so I had to drive 1 and 3/4 hours to get to Mechanicsburg. I had already been approved for financing, so I felt confident if the car was as described, I would purchase it. I arrived at Sun Motors and met with David Boldoser, who was handling my 10 am appointment. I told him my time was tight that day so we went out for a test drive. The car was as beautiful as described and in excellent condition. David Boldoser made it a point to "teach" me about the different Audi specialties and I was very impressed with his knowledge, as he was young. David made the whole experience great and I learned a great deal about Audi's while I was there. The finance manager, I can't remember his name but I will try to find it, came out after seeing who I was financed with, and said he was fairly confident that he could get me a better rate. Although I was in a rush,I wanted to save money so I let him go to town. His hard work saved me over 5 percent! I was out of the dealership and headed back to State College in record time, the 2008 Audi A4 is fantastic!, I will post here later on this year to update on the car, but right now, it is the nicest car I have ever owned! We came in to see what Audi had to offer our family. We met Ben and was astonished with his enthusiasm and knowledge of the brand. Not only am I impressed with how nice the facilities are at Sun Motors, I am also impressed with the sheer professionalism everybody displays towards each other. We ended up purchasing a Q5 and couldn't be happier with our decision. Ben answered all of my questions, made the negotiations very easy and at the end of the day, made sure that we knew how to operate our vehicle. I truly look forward to this established relationship with Ben Catlin and Sun Motors Audi moving forward! More
The Service Dept mis-diagnosed a major issue with my 2005 X5. They charged me an hour of labor ($107) to diagnose the problem, but did not actually look at the issue or try to recreate it. With that diagnosis, I spent just under $1,000 on various services. The day I picked up my car, I returned because the problem was still occurring. When they spent the time (5 minutes) to actually look at the problem, they told me it was a major internal engine repair that would cost $6,000 to get to - $3,000 to remove the head, some additional amount to repair the actual problem - and $3,000 to re-assemble the head. Had I known the actual problem the first time around, I would have never put close to $1,000 worth of service into the vehicle. When trying to discuss my concerns with the GM and Service Manager, I received the minimum required response (one phone call, two emails). At that point, they stopped any further communication with me and told me they couldn't help. More
