Just an oil change, but was able to get a convenient appointment…with safety check, tire rotation and oil change, everything done in about an hour as I waited. When I scheduled the oil change for my husband, I informed the person (male) that I made the appointment with of the $15 coupon. He assured me that it would be applied and gave me a price quote. When my husband showed up for the service, the sales technician informed my husband that they wouldn't accept the coupon (after taking the car for service). He proceeded to try and upsell him on multiple services including tire rotation. The A5 is all wheel drive which is on file and per the salesperson, does not require tire rotation. The sales technician said that "how would I know that it's all wheel drive?" My husband wrote a check and we vowed to never return to Hoffman Estates Audi ever again. The same service technician called yesterday and said that the check was written incorrectly and even though it was presented to the cashier in person, no one noticed. How staff can be this clueless, I'll never understand. The tech sent a driver over to our house for a new check. As I stated, we will never set foot in this dealership again. This was the worst dealership experience that we have had in our decades of car ownership. More
