Dear Mrs. Randall, I apologize if any of my staff or I came across as being rude when we inspected the damage to your vehicle that certainly was not our intention. But unfortunately, any type of damage to a vehicle caused by outside influence, such as a wind sprung door hinge, is not considered a warranty issue. We as a dealership do not write the rules and policies for the warranty process, we just have to adhere to those rules as Audi puts them forth. In this case I would recommend that you use the comprehensive portion of your insurance on the vehicle to have the repairs completed, as the majority of insurance companies out there will provide this type of coverage.
