The worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. Been a customer since 2010, and usually easy going. What happened over the last 6 months with my Tiguan could be the screen write for a comedy. time. Been a customer since 2010, and usually easy going. Still the engine light keep coming on. The new estimate was $5800. I just picked up my car last week and traded it for a Jeep. Thursday I get a text if I have made a decision about my car repair. I have tried to contact the service manager with no luck. I called 5 times with no one answering the phone, then called the “for all other calls “extension and the person said they would have the service man I called 5 times with no one answering the phone, then called the “for all other calls “extension and the person said they would have the service manager call me back. I have not been contacted after 2 days. I had my Touareg worked on to fix an oil leak and replace the catalytic converter. I requested from the original service representative (who is no longer there) that they give me the broken catalytic converter. He said he thought it was sent to somewhere to find out why it broke. I know the scrap catalytic converters sell for between $100-$400 and feel I should have gotten that. I spent over $4000 on the repair. I can’t believe no one answers the phone or returns calls More
Service needs to pay attention to detail. I had leaves on my passenger seat from when they did the inspection. I don’t expect a vacuum for my mess but, I don’t expect more of a mess when I get in my car, along with having all the air vents closed and squeaking(made me think there was a problem until I opened the vent that made the noise). I would also recommend letting the customer know up front how long things will take. I don’t know if space allows, but Peoria Volkswagen brings the car back through the garage and let’s the customer leave from the garage, rather than have the customer walk to the lot. It was also raining that day.. but I don’t know if there is enough space at your facility for that. More
