I went in to look at an A3 and noticed they did not have one on the floor. The receptionist asked if I had been "working" with someone, I told her I did not. He did not introduced himself nor ask for my name or my wife's, just simply state that the A3 is selling so fast that as soon as they get them in they are gone! Did not ask what exactly what I may be interested, when they may get delivery..etc. So I said well, thank you and went to see a Lexus dealer. More

I am not astonished by the reviews and never understood how a company like Audi would consider keeping this type of sales attitude. I bought a few cars a while back from this dealership in the past, as I h how a company like Audi would consider keeping this type of sales attitude. I bought a few cars a while back from this dealership in the past, as I had a very good relation with one of the salesperson. However that change once this fellow was no longer there. They basically give you a lousy trade-in value for your car (at best galves value) even if you want to trade in another Audi and a returning customer. They also make you the favor of selling you a car and will offer you a $300 discount (on a S4 worth $ 60,000) or $ 2,000 on W12 Audi 2005 (when the 2006 are rolling in). You can judge how eager they are to sell when you will see on their web site new 2004 cars for sale!!!! in any case I heard that the guy who own the place is loaded and does'nt give a damn. I am sure they move cars. If you want an audi, there is not a lot of dealers around and as most people lease, they don't give a damn as they just care about paying what they see on the NYtimes Sunday. Unfortunately, all the luxury car dealers are lousy in this area and cocky. It is the same lousy attitude at estate motors (mercedes) in golden's bridge or Mt Kisco Jaguar. Buy a Lexus if you want service. This is the only car company that train their sales force to be pleasant. More

After reading the reviews for Danbury Audi, I feel I must relay my experience of a few years ago. I had an Audi I pruchased at Fairfield (then Continental) Motors that I wanted to replace. I have since moved to Hartford, so Fairfield was rather inconvienent. Consequently, I put a web inquery in through Carpoint and was informed that a dealer would call in 48 hours. After a few days and no contact, I drove to Hoffman Audi in East Hartford who happened to have the A4 in black that I wanted. I bought the car (see Hoffman review) and had it the next day. About three weeks later I got a call from Danbury explaining how they had my name from Carpoint. I politely told him I would not need his assistance when he got very rude and condescending about unserious buyers wasting his time. I just laughed and let him know that he did not compete for my business because he made me wait for weeks for a call, and that my new Audi was in the garage as we spoke. More

I have been a long standing customer of this dealer for one reason. The way I have been treated in the sales department. That all changed last week when I went to trade in my current A4 to buy a new 2004 one reason. The way I have been treated in the sales department. That all changed last week when I went to trade in my current A4 to buy a new 2004 A4. What changed is the attitude in the showroom. Frankly, I was treated horribly, and felt klike I was bothering the people on the sales floor when I asked for assitance. What made matters worse is that my regular sales person, Pat, who sold me my last 3 cars at this dealer, was no longer working there. Even to find out that she was no longer there was like pulling teeth and when they said someone else could help me, I simply replied: "No, nobody else here can help me now". and I walked out. I will head to NY to purchase my new Audi now, thank you very much. As far as Iam concerned, Danbury Audi no longer exists. More
