Long story short, after my warranty expired my car experienced a failure that required an expensive fix. This dealership’s management and service department bent over backwards to help get my expired warranty to cover more than half of the expense. The time they took to communicate with me and help me through this frustrating situation was more than helpful. Very thankful to the general manager and my cars service advisor Linda. More
Take your car to another service place if you want your car taken care of. I brought my car in back in April and told the service department that something was wrong with my car’s compressor. I know no car taken care of. I brought my car in back in April and told the service department that something was wrong with my car’s compressor. I know nothing about cars, but based on the sound I was hearing and weak a/c- a couple googles I figured something was wrong with the compressor. I originally took my car to a Firestone and they diagnosed the car and told me that the compressor and condenser was dying as well as my evap line was leaking and that it all needed replaced, but because of the audi complexity I needed to take it to a dealership. The service department said my car was completely fine and a leaf or some debris must have been caught in there and causing a bad sound. They also told me that audis rarely need that big of a replacement with only 37k miles on it and that if it needed replaced it would sound like my engine was about to fall out. They told me that there was nothing else they could do even after I explained I was extremely worried about ending up on the side of the road, pregnant, and with a toddler in the South Carolina heat this summer. They assured me that my car was Ok. Last week my 1 year old and I(8 months pregnant) ended up on the side of the highway waiting for a tow truck for four hours. After being towed to the dealership, they told me that my entire compressor and system needs replaced. The warranty that expired two weeks ago will no longer cover the $2900 fix. My service advisor told me that they would call my warranty provider and tell them that my car was diagnosed incorrectly back in April in hopes to amend the warranty to cover the costs. After waiting a few days I followed up with warranty, who told me the advisor never even tried to reach out in regard to the request. We also contacted Audi headquarters and put in a claim in hopes that they would recognize a bad customer experience, however, the claim goes to the dealership and was declined. They took no responsibility about something that would have been covered by warranty if they would have caught the problem in the first place. Not only did they misdiagnose my car, make me feel like I was crazy for my obviously valid concerns, but had the service department advisors give me false hope. My husband and I traded in both our cars this past year for Audis because we believed they were a reliable and respected brand. Instead of planning our Audi upgrades, we will never buy another Audi and never give any more business to this service department. Couldnt be more disappointed or upset about my experience. More
I bought my Q3 about a year and a half ago and I’ve had no complaint until this morning. As I am driving into work my coolant warning light goes off out of nowhere. Everyone was helpful in getting a tow tr no complaint until this morning. As I am driving into work my coolant warning light goes off out of nowhere. Everyone was helpful in getting a tow truck scheduled, until I called the service center and spoke to Justin. He informed me there were no loaner cars and there was nothing he could do. I then asked him was I supposed to be without a vehicle until my car is fixed, he answered yes. I asked to speak with the service manager he stated the manager was not there and for me to call back later. I am just utterly appalled at the treatment that Audi service advisors give to customers, especially one who is sitting on the side of the road. More
Traveling home from South Carolina, our 2018 Q5 experienced engine problems. Our local Audi dealer found Jim Hudson Audi for us and told us to drive there immediately. To make a long story short, experienced engine problems. Our local Audi dealer found Jim Hudson Audi for us and told us to drive there immediately. To make a long story short, after waiting at the dealership for over 5 hours, we were told our car needed a new engine and that would take over a week or two in a best case scenario. Paul Vaughn, the service manager, was absolutely terrific. He found us a local hotel, arranged transportation to a car rental for us and promised to do everything possible to help us get our repaired Audi home. However while transferring our belongings into the rental and after riding a short distance in the rental, I walked into the showroom and saw this beautiful 2021 Q5. Phillip Brown approached me and apologized for all our problems. Everyone in the dealership seemed aware of our issue and went out of their way to be helpful. Phillip showed me all the exciting and wonderful features of the new Q5. My husband and I then decided to have Phillip write up a purchase offer. Phillip was totally there to help us rather than to just make a car sale. He is a very intelligent and engaging young man. We have purchased many vehicles in our lives and he was without a doubt the best person we have ever dealt with. That is saying a lot as we have had two car salesmen in our extended family. When he presented the offer, it was a bit higher than we hoped so he brought over Peter Haub, the General Manager. To our amazement, rather than tell us that was the absolutely best deal ever, he went and made it an even better deal. Then Phillip noticed the fatigue and frustration on our faces and actually told us to just think about it at the hotel and to just call him with our decision. No pressure whatsoever just consideration for us and the situation. Phillip then met us early the next morning before the dealership opened to sign the papers. Chip Maginnis took care of the financing with great efficiency and care as well. Phillip even helped my husband transfer all our belongings and took on the responsibility of arranging for the return of the rental. Phillip has a wonderful future ahead of him as he truly understands the concept of customer care and satisfaction along with compassion for others. Jim Hudson Audi should be a model for Audi Dealerships! Many dealerships offer family discounts but Jim Hudson and their fantastic team actually cared for us and treated us as family! More
If you like picking up your car with more damage than when you left it, these guys are wonderful. Dropped off: no flooded taillight 48 hours later Picked up: water flooded taillight The service m when you left it, these guys are wonderful. Dropped off: no flooded taillight 48 hours later Picked up: water flooded taillight The service manager took ~$100 off of the almost $600!!! quote to fix my damaged taillight ($300 on ebay, possibly not OEM), while suggesting that the damage was caused due to "age" (<40kmiles, 2012 A6 Quattro)... not concerned that he had complete possession of my vehicle and that zero issues were had in the last 2+ years. I never understood why you avoid the dealership until dealing with these guys... Thankfully I have timestamped pictures or I'd have been fleeced for $500! Stay VERY far away from their service department. More

We could not be more impressed with their service and specialist departments. Each time I have had the vehicle serviced, it has been done in a timely fashion and always with a quality loner vehicle. DeDe Kinney is a delight to work with and certainly runs business the right way! Just recently, I interacted with Jamal Deloatch in getting a SIM Card installed -- he came into Audi on his day off when he heard I was there, just to handle the service so that I wouldn't have to drive back out to the dealership. Customer service doesn't get better than that! Very happy with Audi Columbia and their personnel. More

I found a loose part in the sunroof that didn't hinder it's operation, but I figured it may be important. When I informed the service department they told me that they had to fully replace the sunroof mechanism and did so. When I returned to pick up my car a week or so later, one of the headlights was not functioning. The service department fixed the headlight and replaced the LED strip too. Throughout this 4 week ordeal Audi Columbia made sure I had a very nice loaner and more importantly there was no charge for these pricey repairs. I again would like to thank Bob Adams and DeDe Kinney for doing business the right way. More
