I custom ordered a car from this dealership, it took six months to arrive and after I had driven it off the lot I discovered it was not in fact the car I had ordered (a Tdi) but a gas model. Sure it was my months to arrive and after I had driven it off the lot I discovered it was not in fact the car I had ordered (a Tdi) but a gas model. Sure it was my fault for not checking over everything, but seriously? I have emails that state exactly what I wanted (I ordered over the phone and online) and figured they listened well enough to get me what I wanted. After a long discussion of what could be done it came down to me waiting another six months for next year's model and paying at least 10% depreciation, or keep it. So I have a very nice car that I am not all that happy with. Also the driveway into the dealership is almost impossible to get in and out of. Take the time to go to Winston-Salem. More
Purchased a Cadillac CTS-V from this dealership. It was an Internet arranged and negotiated deal. The front end went well and was effective. However, the vehicle was delivered without floor mats which I di an Internet arranged and negotiated deal. The front end went well and was effective. However, the vehicle was delivered without floor mats which I did not realize until I reached my home 250+ miles away. I informed the dealer who informed me"Mats are considered. Ancillary disposable items," Additionally they made some leveraging type statements about my trade in which appeared to me to be a means to say the mats were my problem. I found it interesting this was their initial response to resolving a customers problem on a high end vehicle purchase. Something I would have expected at some basic you buy we finance second hand used car lot. Extremely disappointing event. If you are looking for or expecting a level of service comparable to the amount you are investing in a vehicle this dealer is not the place. Appears to be form over substance type establishment. Head to the Audi dealership in Greenville SC. More
They lured me in by stating that they would accept my offer but, once we were well underway with the paperwork, I realized that things were not as I had been told. We had a great experience. Anthony M. knew his cars, let us take our time and was patient with all our questions. Anthony Y. was very helpful with the financing. We got a good trade-in on our old car us take our time and was patient with all our questions. Anthony Y. was very helpful with the financing. We got a good trade-in on our old car and fair price on our new car. We would highly recommend Audi Charlotte and we are looking forward to driving an Audi (Q5) for the first time. More
Love the AUDI car, but STEER CLEAR of this dealer. DRIVE ON BY, wish I did. A WASTE of TIME. As a prior Lexus owner and the Hendricks service dept. I was Queen for the Day every encounter for all 4 years ON BY, wish I did. A WASTE of TIME. As a prior Lexus owner and the Hendricks service dept. I was Queen for the Day every encounter for all 4 years. NOT HERE !! Both SALESMANSHIP and SERVICE LACKING THROUGHOUT ! Tony greeted me quickly, but when I asked to get an apprasial on selling my car, I was immediately told that the manager was too busy to see me. Come back when I had an appointment. THEN DROPPED COLD> I walked the lot looking at almost every car.over 30 minutes) before anyone tried to show me an Audi. At MOST dealerships, the salespeople are on you like flys. Peter, who took me on a test drive in the A6 was ok , until I asked what the difference was between the years 2012 and 2013 and told in baby talk "one has a 2 and one has a 3" . Is this some strange sense of humor ?? BOB WHITMORE, SALES MGR wins the prize on poor treatment. WHERE DID THEY GET HIM AND WHY DO THEY KEEP HIM? I was told by Peter they would not let me title the car myself, even though I live out of State and it would be easy for me and EVERY other dealers allows and prefers it. At signing, I was presented papers with the WRONG address. EVEN THOUGH I GAVE THEM IN WRITING HOW I NEEDED THE CAR TITLED. I asked the papers be changed to reflect my CURRENT, CORRECT business address to title my car. Bob refused because their INTERNET search dug up this prior address. It was where my business resided in 1999. I think he was too lazy or incompentent to make the change. I told him this was incorrect nad I didn't want to title to the wrong place and have to change it later on. Bob insisted they would only Title the car at this PRIOR address. WHO DOES THAT? I am a business owner for over 25 years and take legal documents seriously. No DEAL!! I WALKED. I bought an A6 Audi (same features) for over $2000 less and was driven there by the dealer to pick it up. More
I completely agree with all negative reviews of this dealership. We have A6 which we have to service there just because they are close. I was interested in A6 or A7 and test drove it at Audi of Charlott dealership. We have A6 which we have to service there just because they are close. I was interested in A6 or A7 and test drove it at Audi of Charlotte a couple of times. The sales guy was OK,but I would recommend him to wake up a little bit. He didn't seem to be interested in selling me a car, but located a couple of cars that I wanted and when I asked him if I order a car how much they would take off the sticker price he just told me that because it's a new model they sell them at a sticker price. I asked them to give me a price on my trade in BMW X5 and they gave me 32K which is way below the market and I told him that it was unacceptable. I don't like pushy dealers who try to corner you, but I want to see some interest in me as a customer and I didn't have that experience at all. I visited that dealership 3 or 4 times because I was going to buy or order A7, but I never met the manager and always felt like these guys think just because they only game in town they doing me a favor. Not a good way to treat a customer who is buying a 70-80K car. I ended up driving to Atlanta and bought A7 from Audi of North Atlanta and boy what a difference. Was treated nicely, got for my BMW 35K and got $4.000 off the sticker price on A7 prestige fully loaded which is $7.000 less comparing to Charlotte. Maybe not the best deal on earth but I had a great experience and left very satisfied in a new car. I think that it all that matters. We all understand that dealers have to eat too and they have to make their profit, but at least treat your customers nicely and be reasonable. If you are interested to buy Audi I wouldn't recommend Audi of Charlotte - go somewhere else. More
I recently visited this dealer to purchase a new a6 and have promised myself I will never set foot in their sales showroom again. They try to put the screws to you and keep twisting. In my particular situa have promised myself I will never set foot in their sales showroom again. They try to put the screws to you and keep twisting. In my particular situation they were 7000-8000.00 higher than 3 other dealers in the region. Yes that's correct 7000-8000 higher. While someone wrote, in a report on this site, in response to another author who stated higher prices at this dealer, that all the dealers pay the same and that is impossible to happen let me state he is out of touch with reality and has no knowledge of car buying. While it is true that they all do pay the same the difference is in the trade value. They offered me nearly 8000.00 less than the other dealers. If you deal with this dealership you deserve what you get with respect to a purchase. Now from what I have read here their service may be a different situation as it gets some very good reports...for the most part. The ownership of this dealership should take notice and regroup its sales management. Remember there are many other dealerships available to you if you don't mind driving a hour or so from Charlote....but it will be worth it. By the way I am not a novice at purchasing cars as I trade on an annual basis so I know what I am talking about. And if you receive poor service be sure to contact Audi corporate and let them know about your experiences. That does do some good. Lastly, review several of the other comments on this site. You will definitely see a pattern regarding pricing and attitude. Everyone cannot be wrong. And look at other dealers....bet you will not see any with as many complaints as this one. Action speaks for itself. More
Wonderful experience with Audi of Charlotte!! We had not owned and Audi for about 15 years, and visited the dealership to review the current products. The sales asociate "Walter" was very polite and had a v owned and Audi for about 15 years, and visited the dealership to review the current products. The sales asociate "Walter" was very polite and had a vast knowledge of all the product line. The new car manager "Bob" was very professional and fair with the selling price of the new Audi A6 (I had done lot's of Audi homework on-line before visiting the dealership). The used car mamger "Bill" was great and gave us a more than a fair trade-in value. I would and have recommended the dealership to others. My father-in-law recently purchased an A4 after sharing our experience. More
HIGHEST AUDI PRICES YOU'LL FIND!!! I went to these guys to lease an A4. Not only were their rates the highest I found, there is an arrogant attitude here like they are the only dealer in the state! I live to lease an A4. Not only were their rates the highest I found, there is an arrogant attitude here like they are the only dealer in the state! I live in Charlotte but ended up getting a great deal in Charleston AND was treated like they truly wanted my business. The Charlotte dealer will still service your vehicle since they're always trying to push tires and brake pads on you that you don't need! My advice -- look elsewhere! More
