EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED I have a problem with my water pump on my 2012 Audi Q5 and it was diagnosed previously at a local auto shop. My mother also has a q5 but from 2017 and she got noticed of a recall pump on my 2012 Audi Q5 and it was diagnosed previously at a local auto shop. My mother also has a q5 but from 2017 and she got noticed of a recall for the water pump. I called Audi Burlington to see if there was a potential recall for my car and after giving them my cars VIN number, age, and milage they discovered there was no recall for my vehicle. I was informed that there are a lot of problems with q5's water pumps though and they offer an extended warranty for this issue. They told me to bring in my car and they would submit pictures to HQ to see if I was eligible. I brought my car in, was charged 199 dollars, and they looked at my car and told me what I already knew. When I asked what about the warranty, they said it only goes for cars of younger than 10 years and less than 100,000 miles. They clearly knew the day before my car wouldn't be available for the warranty and had me bring my car in any way to charge me $199. When I called to explain the situation, they were extremely rude and wouldn't listen to my side of the story (Max Ha in service). Being one year out of college, I told my dad and he tried to help with the situation, we talked to the service manager, Matt Brickey, he interrupted my father every time he tried to justify the situation and was very hostile. My father let him get his point across then asked if he may speak and Matt hung up on him. We tried to call back three times and they wouldn't answer. The situation was fraud and they handled it with disrespect. More
