Not quite sure how to answer this. ..first you called and said everything was good but the tech was recommending front brakes, which I elected not to do. Then you called back and said the inspection failed because of the brakes, but I still did not want the work done. When I arrived to pick up my "failed inspection" car, I questioned why the old sticker was still on instead of a 10-day temporary one....the $21 invoice clearly states "failed inspection". After some confusion, a service tech came, grabbed my keys, drove the car back into the shop, and proceeded to put a new sticker on indicating the car passed. The Manager then came out and told me they passed the car because the brake failure indication was borderline and subjected. So from a technical standpoint did the brakes pass or fail? Is the car safe to drive under NY State standards? Were you trying to coerce me into spending $1,300+ for a brake job that was not necessary to pass inspection. How am I, a loyal Audi customer since 2012 supposed to interpret this experience? There are obviously open questions regarding my experience. More
