Alex Martel was the person I worked with in sales and he made my experience purchasing this car w I purchased a 2016 Audi Allroad from Brookline Audi. Alex Martel was the person I worked with in sales and he made my experience purchasing this car wonderful! He was patient, never pushy and very helpful. He helped me get what I wanted for my trade in and the whole process went smoothly due to his great communication and assistance. He drove the car I purchased out to my house a few days later and drove my car I traded in back to Brookline. He really was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend Audi Brookline due to my positive experience during my purchase. I had my worst experience in a car dealership with this finance team i This review is regarding only the FINANCE dept at Herb Chambers Audi BROOKLINE. I had my worst experience in a car dealership with this finance team in December. They seem to be under new management because my experience in 2016 was fantastic and thats why I came back. Well, never again. I was given a quote (I had documentation from the dealership) on a Q3 lease from my sales specialist (Jonathan- best guy to work with over there). When I went back a week later to meet with finance, they told me the quote I was given did NOT include the sales tax. I was fairly certain the sales tax was included, but Didn't have the document with me and trusted the finance team (my mistake there, I know). I asked two of the finance guys multiple times if they were sure the tax was not included, and each time they firmly told me no. I signed a lease contract, only to find out a few minutes later that my original quote included sales tax. I then signed a second lease contract with the correct amount. Why wouldn't they have looked at this document immediately when there was confusion about the sales tax??? One of the finance managers said they "would give me discounts and eat the rest of the costs" to get to the correct monthly payment. Gee, thanks for making me feel like a valued customer! When reviewing the optional add-ons for my lease, I felt aggressively pressured to pick an option. I asked if I had to pick any, and the finance guy would NOT give me a straight answer. It was only until after I left that gross office that I found out all of those add-ones are purely optional. Fast forward a week later and the dealership tried to cut me a check for the sales tax (~$1000) instead of processing the correct loan. No thank you, I want the payment that was signed off by a manager! They initially were not going to honor the price I was given. Their bait and switch tactics are illegal and concerning. I asked that they process my correct contract, and 3 weeks later, I am STILL waiting to be reimbursed for the difference of the loan payments. I called and left 3 voicemails for one of the managers over the course of a week before I got a call back re: my reimbursement. That's pathetic. I highly doubt I was have been treated with the same disrespect had I not been a woman at the dealership on my own. I was so disgusted after this experience that my sales guy was kind enough to drop off my new vehicle at my home because I will never step foot in there again. My entire finance experience lacked integrity and professionalism. It's disgusting that these guys have no problem lying to your face and trying to swindle as much money from you as they can. More
