I spoke with David Morrison, the Service Manager about the complex circumstances before I left, and felt very confident that he would do "whatever it took" to make things right for me (through the warranty company, Audi or by other means). Put another way, I felt that he was on my side as opposed to the usual adversarial situation. And he produced! Other service personnel kept me up-to-date as the process unfolded. Little did I know, my daughter had fed change into it. Sean saw the look of shock on my face when he explained what happened and how much it would be to fix. Instead of saying "what can I do?" Sean burst into action and went to the manager David to see how they could help me. Sean said they would look for a used CD player and it would cut the cost. I was incredibly relieved. A few days later Sean needed some numbers off the back of the CD player so I took the car over. The tech foreman felt pretty confident he could fix the CD player BUT if he couldn't it could make it so I may not be able to replace it with a used one. I took the risk and it totally paid off. IT WAS FIXED and at no charge to me!!! What the wonderful, sensational, exceptional team at Sunset Audi didn't know is that for the past few months I had been under tremendous stress with personal issues, moving to Seattle, quitting my job, selling my house and everything in between. I could not deal with one more thing and I can not thank the team enough for helping me. My daughter got a very stern talking to about playing in mom's car, too! More
