Truly professional, honest , and friendly dealership. My wife and I visted Audi of Alexandria after viewing a listing on cars.com. From the initial phone call inquiring about the vehicle, to the visit, and wife and I visted Audi of Alexandria after viewing a listing on cars.com. From the initial phone call inquiring about the vehicle, to the visit, and the purchase...our experience was absolutely wonderful. The vehicle was competitively priced and was clearly the best deal compared to other ads. The knowledgable and friendly salesman (Mr. Luk) truly made our car buying experience easy. Not only did they provide the best price, Audi of Alexandia's financing team is awesome - they provided the best financing rate. The process was quick, efficient, professional. This is the dealership to visit. I do not usually take time to post comments on websites, but my experience at Audi of Alexandria deserves sharing. A Truly Satisfied Customer, elb More
Our first experience with Audi of Alexandria was about a year ago: my 2004 Audi A4 had a broken windshield wiper, making it nearly impossible to see while driving in the rain. We called Audi of Alexandria f year ago: my 2004 Audi A4 had a broken windshield wiper, making it nearly impossible to see while driving in the rain. We called Audi of Alexandria first thing the next morning and asked what they could do. Marc Gritz, in the service department, graciously told us to come right in, and he immediately fixed the wiper free-of-charge and washed/vacuumed the car for us, too! We had normally used the Tyson's Corner location, but when we realized there was a closer dealership in Alexandria (we live in DC), we were thrilled to find that they are super-accommodating and helpful. A few months later, the car was making some strange sounds - we again called Marc, and he made it a priority to get us in right away. I have been an Audi owner for several years and have patronized several excellent dealerships, but I must say, Marc made us feel like VIP clients! He was sensitive to keeping costs down, made sure to explain every repair in detail and told us what was necessary and what was optional. We casually mentioned to Marc that we would soon be looking for another car. As a service technician, he had no vested interest in trying to sell us a car, yet he took the time to answer several questions about the latest Audis. We left Audi of Alexandria more informed and extremely happy! This brings us to the present. Over the past weekend, my husband and I started having trouble with the car. We immediately called Marc and described the problem to him. He was able to diagnose the problem (fuel pump) over the phone and advised us to bring it in as soon as possible. We brought the car in just thirty minutes before the service center was scheduled to close (on a Saturday). Marc stayed late to confirm his suspicions about the fuel pump and to explain our options to us. At this point, Marc is our go-to guy for anything car-related - he is the epitome of a top-notch service provider. In an unplanned twist of events, we decided to start looking then and there for a new car. We worked with Tommy Luk, who helped us find the exact vehicle we were looking for and worked diligently to get us the best possible price. He was very honest with us - at one point when I discussed my desire for a particular add-on feature, he explained to me that it might not be worth the money. It's always nice when a salesman is interested in gaining your trust rather than simply making the sale. Such was the case with Tommy. He patiently walked us through all our options and answered all our questions. We ended up deciding on a new 2011 A4 and were able to negotiate a great deal that worked out well. With respect to some of the negative reviews on here, I will say that because of the relatively small location, the experience is not the same as at a larger dealership where there are lots of salespeople milling around. This location is tiny (right in Del Ray, Alexandria) and they don't have as many people working there. They keep most of their vehicle inventory offsite at a yard about a mile away. This really isn't a problem, as long as you know that you need to go speak to one of the salesman inside, rather than just standing outside waiting for someone to come solicit your business. I highly recommend both Marc in Service and Tommy in Sales at Audi of Alexandria. It feels good to be valued customer. More
took in my car for service.... it was done on time, cleaned, tires rotated, fluids topped. I love the attention this service station gives to their cars. I made the appointment only the day before for only an oil change and I guess it was important to them to make sure they win me as a long time customer. More

I'm sorry to read the last blogger had such a bad experience, I hope that in the future they have a better experience. My experience on the other had was great! When I made my appointment I was give experience, I hope that in the future they have a better experience. My experience on the other had was great! When I made my appointment I was given an appointment immediately. When I arrived at the service department I was greeted with a friendly smile, and a hello from the Service manager. I received immediate attention, with the utmost quality customer service, and was shown the waiting room, and offered a cold drink. While waiting for the service to be done, I walked over to the sales department, to see our salesman. He jumped up from his desk, and greeted me although he was with another customer. We chatted briefly about wanting to upgrade my Audi A4 to an A6 in a couple months. The service on my car was done within a hour with a wash and vac. They also topped off my windshield wipers fluid at no extra charge. I'm very satisfied with the work that was done. The quality, friendly, customer service we receive from Audi of Alexandria is the "BEST". I look forward to being a satisfied customer for many years to come. More
I have an Audi A4 that I took in this April because the Check Engine light was on. They diagnosed and all they said I needed was a hose repaired. Okayed that. Light came back on within 20 miles. Since Check Engine light was on. They diagnosed and all they said I needed was a hose repaired. Okayed that. Light came back on within 20 miles. Since the car was running fine and the diagnosis didn't turn up anything else, I figured I would wait to have it fixed or looked at another time. So, the car didn't pass emissions inspection about a week ago. Took the car back to Audi of Alexandria on Wednesday at 10 AM. I had an appointment. They didn't get back to me until that afternoon that they were still looking at it. This is cardealerspeak for we haven't even put the thing on the computer yet. A diagnosis takes very little time. I called on Thursday mid day and in the later afternoon. Brad wouldn't return my calls and finally they told me he had left for the day. I demanded to speak to the manager on duty. He didn't know what to tell me but I demanded to have the diagnosis for free because of already being there in April and not having the issue addressed to satisfaction. So......it is no Friday evening and I'm without a car. I forced them to take it to Audi of Tysons so hopefully a larger dealer with a better reputation can fix the car. It only has 45,000 miles on it so I'm not sure what the issue is, but I'll never do business or encourage anyone else to do business with this dealer. Thank goodness I have a viable alternative to turn to in the metro DC area or I'd never buy an Audi again. More

After the test drive I thanked him and was leaving, when he asked if I'd be interested if he gave me a good number. I said, I'll consider it if you can do 40K. He said let's talk. After making us wait for 20 minutes he came back and asked if I'd be trading in my BMW. I said yes, he asked for my key to assess my trade in value. After making us wait another 20 minutes they offered me half the value of what my car's typical trade-in value and to make matters worse, they offered me sticker price for the Q5. I told him I wasn't interested in the deal and that I have to leave. This is when the real show began. The salesman put on a show picking up the phone to tell someone that I needed my key back, soon like three times. All the while my key was with his manager who was within clear view of where we were sitting. Finally it took a friend of mine to threaten to throw a fit if they didn't produce my key within 30 seconds, for the manager to hurriedly bring back the key which he had conveniently hid on his shelf. The most horrible experience I've had ever with any car dealer. They're dishonest and disrespectful. Never buy a car from these crooks. More
Best service department for Audi anywhere in the beltway area. The staff is friendly and really knowledgeable when it comes to these cars. The Audi Q7 which in particular needs special attention. My wife area. The staff is friendly and really knowledgeable when it comes to these cars. The Audi Q7 which in particular needs special attention. My wife loves this SUV and takes pride in driving it. Every time we take it to Audi of Alexandria we know its in good hands. The price is reasonable and the money worth the peace of mind. More
Was a BMW person for 20 years, tried Infiniti, but always liked the Audi designs, and after making the comparison, decided to lease an Audi A6 Premium Plus (3.0T) from Audi of Alexandria. Had to drive 500 liked the Audi designs, and after making the comparison, decided to lease an Audi A6 Premium Plus (3.0T) from Audi of Alexandria. Had to drive 500 miles the day after getting the car, and found that the car just gets better and better at highway speeds (much of the trip was through 70 mph zones, and “of course” I never exceeded the speed limit…lol!). These cars are made for highway driving, but around town, has great balance of weight, power, handling and ride. Curb appeal is also very high as these are great looking cars! It’s one of those cars you can just admire from every angle with both a classic look, but with modern design features…simply, the Audi has the best aesthetics across their entire line capped by the R8. . After seven days of driving, the steering started giving resistance and making groaning sound (especially when turning)…I suspected a steering hydraulics issue (not something to fool around with as these cars need a lot of pressure to work the power steering system), so I called Audi of Alexandria (500 miles away), and the Service Manager immediately got on the phone to the local dealer Audi of Charlotte (again, this was 500 miles away from home). I was able to carefully drive the 5 miles to the deasler (this was late on a Friday afternoon), wherein the service manager immediately took the car in, investigated the trouble and within 15 minutes, discovered the trouble). A clamp holding the hydraulics hose was not crimped correctly at the Audi factory, and had worked itself loose, resulting in substantial leakage of steering fluid. The fast action taken by everyone involved was truly impressive! Audi of Charlotte ended up putting me into a brand new Audi loaner to get me back home (I had to travel back the next day), and Audi of Alexandria allowed me to simply pick out a new car three days later after getting the “OK” from Audi corporate (I ended up upgrading to a Prestige A6 3.0T, but I could have simply swapped for the same exact model and color which they were ready to accomodate). I expect excellence in service in this level of car, and both dealers went well above & beyond in delivering just that – Moreover, Audi corporate came through for the customer without any hesitation (not the same experience I have had with BMW NA, who rates a “0” in customer service). Tom Peter’s landmark book of the 1980s In Search of Excellence cites how successful companies are driven to deliver superior products and services, and equally important, providing superior, fast and competent response when problems occur. Audi exceeded every expectation of how to treat a customer, and I expect to be an Audi customer for a LONG time! Thanks again to all those who made this car buying/leasing experience so special - Sami Elkabir (GM), Jay Jawaid (Sales Mgr), Kathy Gole (Finance Manager), and Dermonte Morris (Client Advisor)! You guys are the very best! More
I bought a brand new Audi A5 from Audi of Alexandria last month. The salesman was great at explaining the features of the car. I think he was as exited as I was about helping me buy the car. Very positive month. The salesman was great at explaining the features of the car. I think he was as exited as I was about helping me buy the car. Very positive energy and character in the sales staff, when I met the GM Sammy, I realized why that is. Two weeks later...I noticed a "door ding" I was angry!! The car is perfect! But now with a scar, I couldnt get it out of my mind. I called the dealership and spoke to Sammie, he had me bring in the car and fixed this door ding at no charge at all. Now that is the Audi of Alexandria Experience!!! Five stars, and 4 thumbs up!! More
