Took vehicle in for wheel alignment. Prior to picking up vehicle, technician stated that my left front wheel bearing needed replaced and quoted about $1800 for the repair. I declined (because I know how to vehicle, technician stated that my left front wheel bearing needed replaced and quoted about $1800 for the repair. I declined (because I know how to change it myself) and picked up vehicle after the alignment was completed. They NEVER mentioned that the front left wheel was removed. About a week later, I was in the process of changing out the wheel bearing when I realized that I was missing the locking lug nut. Seems like they replaced it with a regular lug nut (NOT GOOD). I sent an email back to the technician and haven't heard since (it's been over a week). I also called the Service Dept and left a voice mail on the Manager's phone and haven't gotten a call-back. I sent another email to the "care" team (cc'ing the technician again) and still NO RESPONSE. To top it all off, the left front wheel bearing didn't fix the problem. Turns out it was my RIGHT front wheel bearing that was bad. So what would have cost me $3600 from Audi, I was able to repair it myself for under $500. Do yourself a favor and DON'T take it to this SERVICE DEPT. They don't know what they are doing and will likely mess up (lose or steal) your stuff. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! More
Unless you want to be out thousands of dollars, with a car that is in worse shape than when you brought it in, DO NOT GO HAVE YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE. You would think that you would have the best of servic car that is in worse shape than when you brought it in, DO NOT GO HAVE YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE. You would think that you would have the best of services and support at an Audi dealership that prides themselves in luxury vehicles and services, that is not the case unfortunately. I have been waiting weeks for someone to follow up with me and make the situation that they made worse right. But the do not care, I am just another idiot that they made $4,000 off of. There mechanics are not qualified, even the staff admitted that to me after the 2nd time I had to bring the car back after they serviced it. I brought my vehicle in to have the AC looked at and a check engine light that had been on and off for months looked at. The car itself had no performance issues besides you could hear a slit misfire on occasion, now after 2 months and 2 visits at the dealership (not even provided with a loaner car the first 4 weeks they had my vehicle) I got my car back with more problems than it even had going in. The car has completely died on my in the middle of driving, the bottom of the car dropped out while driving 70 mph of the interstate, it won't start sometimes and the oil consumption is so bad that I am having to put in a new quart of oil at least once a week because now the low oil light keeps coming on. Greatest part is..... they want me to bring it back in for them to look at it again and I do not want anyone there touching my car, they are what made it do all this in the first place. They just hope I am dumb enough to fork over thousands more for something that "may or may not fix" the car. I have never gone somewhere to pay for something to get fixed/serviced and gotten it back in such bad shape that it is not even usable anymore. This place is the worst - the so called manager was supposed to follow up with me three weeks ago now, still no word. They do not care. More
The Finance Directors here, Specifically AK Sebih, are incompetent. They owed me money and because they got confused in their system, I have been waiting since June 9 for a check. I asked two other financ incompetent. They owed me money and because they got confused in their system, I have been waiting since June 9 for a check. I asked two other finance managers for help, and they only referred me back to their boss, AK Sebih. AK does not answer phone calls, return voice mails, or reply to emails. I visited in person, too, for answers, and was told to "call back" at a time two weeks later. Guess what? AK Sebih and his team never answered. Other employees here, both sales and other, told me they would "leave the finance manager a note" to contact me. Either they too do not care, or AK and his team continued to not care about a customer. I had to call Audi USA and after talking with 3 different departments, I was able to receive some much-needed information. They are presumably superseding what Audi Arlington miserably failed to do. In short, I would never, ever, ever recommend this dealership, and I feel personally affronted by the way I have been treated. More
The great customer service apparently ends after a car is purchased. I have had one issue after another. I have left emails and voice mail message but never get a response back. This by far is the worst exp purchased. I have had one issue after another. I have left emails and voice mail message but never get a response back. This by far is the worst experience I ever had after purchasing a car. Paper work not submitted properly etc. More
So I just bought my first Audi (SQ5) two weeks ago and last week I dropped off my car at the Audi Service in Arlington VA. Next day went to pick up my car and as I was walking over to the service lane to last week I dropped off my car at the Audi Service in Arlington VA. Next day went to pick up my car and as I was walking over to the service lane to pick up my car, a gentleman told me that he would pull up next to the curb outside of the pick up/drop off area and to meet him there. I thought this was a little odd but didn't really think anything of it at the time. I went straight home, parked in my driveway about 30 feet from the road. An hour later my girlfriend showed up and asked me what happened to my taillight which was cracked/broken. I quickly called the dealership but they closed early since it was Sunday so I took a photo and emailed my service advisor Justin Robbins. The next morning I called but was told no one was available to speak with me so I left a message, finally hours later that day Justin called to inform me that he confirmed through photos that the taillight was not damaged when I dropped off my car and that he would order the part and fix the damage. I was very kind and understanding since these things can happen even though it should have been addressed right away instead of waiting for me to discover it so I patiently waited four days with no contact from anyone. I emailed and then called Justin to get an update and he told me a manager would call me. That same day Suhaylah Adebo (service manager) called and very rudely told me that they were not liable for the damage and that it was my responsibility. I asked her if she checked the cameras but she continuously avoided the question and did not provide any evidence or details just kept saying it was not their responsibility. She wasn't even interested in helping me find out how much and what to do to fix the damage no matter who was paying for it and didn't offer any resolution of any kind when it was very clear that this happened on their watch. I couldn't believe what I was hearing from an Audi dealership's service manager but I also was not that surprised since during my previous 2 service visits before this one, everyone seemed very unprofessional, not very friendly at all, and worst of all didn't have any knowledge to answer most of the questions I had. This last visit I was charged $220 only for them to tell me they weren't able to program my extra key because it was already programmed to another vehicle and that I needed to order a new one for $800. I pointed out that this didn't make sense since the physical key blade was able to unlock the doors, which they weren't even aware of so I'm not sure if they even tried. The next day I found out on my own that I could just replace the transmitter for $400 (half the price). Being this was my first Audi, you can imagine my disappointment dealing with them. I never once dealt with anything even remotely close during 12+ years of servicing through Lexus. I knew I wasn't in Kansas anymore the moment I walked through the doors of the service department and stood there as not a single one of the 5-6 employees within my immediate vicinity even acknowledged me. Unfortunately this experience makes me want to return the car and never buy an Audi ever again even though I'm very happy with the vehicle itself. It's absolutely unacceptable for anyone to be treated like a second class citizen when you take your car in for service anywhere let alone a luxury car dealership. More
DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE, they damaged my car while it was in their care and have been impossible in trying to rectify. Read other reviews as well on here to see their shady tactics when it comes while it was in their care and have been impossible in trying to rectify. Read other reviews as well on here to see their shady tactics when it comes to taking responsibility for their actions. I brought my car in last summer for a windshield replacement and they left my car out in the rain with a broken windshield for weeks, and the car trunk flooded, resulting in damage and mold to the car. AND, almost a year later I am still fighting them on this and my car has been there for a total of five months as they still continue to try and "fix" it while I am forced to make lease payments on a car that I no longer have because it's been in their possession. They barely communicate with me, blowing me off with fake deadlines that the car will be ready and offering me zero compensation for my personal property they damaged that was in my trunk. They are the absolute worst. It is my biggest regret that I brought my car here and they are a horrible tarnish on the Audi brand. More
Poor service and hidden costs. First visit was fine. Nice salesman. Tried to get us to stay and commit to purchasing even though it was our first time seeing an Audi in person. Returned 4 days later Nice salesman. Tried to get us to stay and commit to purchasing even though it was our first time seeing an Audi in person. Returned 4 days later with an appointment to look again at the specific car we had already test driven (3 year old, low mileage used). Our salesman was with another customer at our appointment time and didn't bother to wash the car or pull it out of the back lot. Still covered in spring time pollen. Despite this, we decided to make the purchase for their "no haggle" sticker price. When the paperwork arrived, the "no haggle" dealership added a $900 inspection fee and demanded I use their service to register the car in my state of legal residency. Their registration service was almost 4 times what it costs me to do it on my own. The sales manager had the audacity to tell me self registration was not allowed by any local dealer. We walked. That night, the Audi dealer in a nearby town had a similar car, similar price, no added fees and let me title and register my own car, no questions asked. More
I walked in with a friend intent on buying a car. I told them exactly what I wanted. The salesman was condescending and later in email gave me grief for using Trucar. When I said the freight fees were exces them exactly what I wanted. The salesman was condescending and later in email gave me grief for using Trucar. When I said the freight fees were excessive he stopped returning my emails. He basically didn’t want to bother to sell me a car. I drove up to Silver Spring and bought one there on the spot. This is my second very bad experience at a Rosenthal dealer. I will now be driving 45 minutes to get the car serviced at Silver Spring because I don’t trust Rosenthal. More
I was looking to replace my 2018 Mazda CX-5 and went to Audi of Arlington and was very pleased with the responsiveness of the sales team. Dino Muller was very thorough in describing the features of the ve Audi of Arlington and was very pleased with the responsiveness of the sales team. Dino Muller was very thorough in describing the features of the vehicle and was very great during the test drive. I was comparing it to the Mazda CX-5, yes the Audi outshines the Mazda CX-5, but wasn’t sure if the price made it worth it. Worked with Sales Manager Jae Yang, on the pricing and it was a no brainer. I am now a happy member of the Audi family. More
If you have any doubts about the honesty of Arlington Audi, read the review dated June 1, 2012. The service department washed this man’s car (as part of routine service) with the sunroof open. Arlingto Audi, read the review dated June 1, 2012. The service department washed this man’s car (as part of routine service) with the sunroof open. Arlington Audi’s reaction was terrible. They did not fess up to the mistake until confronted by the owner with a car with a completely wet interior. Then they tried to cheat the car owner out of fair compensation. I brought my A4 in for routine service work and Arlington Audi found that I needed new tires at a cost of $1,336. I got them replaced at a tire store for $1065, 20% less. On another visit, a visor clip cost $153 and a broken tether to a fuel cap required replacement of the entire cap at a cost of $147. I paid $300 for minor parts. Do not get a loaner vehicle here. I got one, drove it home 4 miles and then back and turned it in. There was no one available to inspect the car for damage. Instead, I got a call the next day reporting $500 in damages. I did not do this, but I had no recourse since Arlington Audi made a charge to my credit card without my permission. No one from the dealership wanted to discuss that perhaps one of their employees caused this damage. After reading the review about Arlington Audi’s dishonesty in the open sunroof carwash incident, I realized that I was dealing with shysters! Save money by staying away from Arlington Audi. More
