Great cars and a really great representative to work with. He's old school customer service oriented. He goes out of his way even arranging service appointments and availability of a service loaners. If you own an Audi you drive an Audi service loaner..no rental car company runaround. Abbas is low key, low pressure, and most he listens to your needs and finds a mutually beneficial solution. Between the hard working Abbas and the easy to deal with Genaral Manager Rik Woldring it's hard to imagine owning another brand especially an American automobile. More

Originally worked with Jason to kick off the multiple phase oil consumption test process, with Pat to confirm it with Audi, and mostly with Ryan to address it. I'm calling all three of these guys out as at no point did I have to reiterate the situation - they must have an outstanding internal communication system. They managed my expectations the whole way and exceeded it time and time again. Langan Audi East, from my experiences, is not one of those "stealerships" we all detest. I'm tempted to list everything they did but honestly would not expect them to do the exact same for everyone. That is not a negative statement - I think they will offer a unique experience to everyone based on their needs, just expect a very high standard in service and empowerment to make judgment calls (i.e. no silly escalation to the service manager/director needed). Jason, Pat, and Ryan were the ones I communicated with but I know others were involved. Especially those that performed the technical work, turning around a piston and rings replacement job in 2 days (expected 5). Even the young man that provided a shuttle ride during an early morning dropoff contributed to my experience. Thanks guys! More

Langan: how not to run a dealership I tried to deal with Langan when purchasing a new Audi. They tried to push one they had on the lot that did not have the options I wanted. Because of this I decided to buy elsewhere and was offered much more for my trade in. Strike one. I took my car to them for maintenance a few times because they are the closest Audi dealer around. One time they scratched my car and denied doing it. After some dispute I got them to agree to fix it. The first attempt to fix the scratch was not done correctly. I showed the service manager how terrible the repair looked, and after more dispute, he agreed it was not done right. The second time they did not do anything to fix the scratch and just gave me the car back. After bringing this to their attention again they refused to fix the scratch. One comment was made by a service guy there, "maybe you should have bought the car from us", as if that is the service I should expect because I didn't buy it from them. Strike two. Since the scratch, I brought my car there to get a few small issues fixed related to Technical Service Bulletins, which they refused to perform. Apparently it is at the discretion of the dealer to fix problems related to TSB's. I read online that others had their dealers fix the same issues according to the TSB's at no cost. Langan told me I would have to pay for the repairs out of my own pocket. Strike three. Overall my experience with Langan has been frustrating and a waste of time. One would expect that if you pay a premium for a vehicle it should come with the same level of service in return. This is not true of Langan. Their sales and service struck out and I will never go back. I encourage you to shop elsewhere. More
Motor leaking oil I will never purchase another Audi! The brand new one was leaking a quart of oil every 1,000 miles and they had to pull the motor and replace the pist I will never purchase another Audi! The brand new one was leaking a quart of oil every 1,000 miles and they had to pull the motor and replace the piston and rings. The car was always at the dealership. The worst part was Audi never made it right and I had to trade it. Now there is a class action lawsuit for all 2.0 turbo motors made from 09 to 12. The service manager from Langon Audi in Albany N.Y. told me they have been replacing piston and rings in motors about twice a week for the last two years. Audi has never issued a recall for this oil consumption problem. What a great company! More
Quite frankly, Langan Audi (East) is a very bright spot in what seems to me to be a very dreary sky full of dealers who haven't a clue what 'Customer Service' is about!!! Whenever I walk in, I am almost i in what seems to me to be a very dreary sky full of dealers who haven't a clue what 'Customer Service' is about!!! Whenever I walk in, I am almost immediately greeted by someone in the sales area, and should I have a question, the answer is always fast coming and accurate. The service department has been nothing less than outstanding in every way, from the wonderfully pleasant service advisory staff to the technicians who are actually interested (and allowed!!) in discussing my automobiles with me!!
