Poor sales and service experience, don't waste time here I was very patient and tried to give them a chance to make things right, but I think the time has come for me to write this review. Went to Langan (Audi Albany, whatever they're calling themselves now) to look at a used 2013 Audi Allroad they had on the lot. The car was in pretty good shape, but a diagnostic scan indicated some engine issues including cylinder 4 misfires and there appeared to be a valve cover leak on the exhaust side of the head. During negotiation I brought up these issues and told Jon, the used sales manager, that they needed to be repaired. He was very argumentative and talked down to me, even lied claiming they had never had to replace an ignition coil on a used car (despite Audi having multiple recalls in the past on these parts). Since I've owned 10 VW/Audi vehicles and have worked on them over the past 14 years as a hobby, I have a pretty good amount of knowledge on these cars. I told him the misfire was either an ignition issue or a fuel injector issue, and they needed to look into both. After some talking, he agreed (in writing) to fix the problems and we agreed on a price. I made it very clear that it was important the misfire be fixed, because that kind of issue can destroy an engine. I was promised it would be addressed. Four days after picking up the car, the number four piston blew up while driving... literally blown to pieces. Turns out they either didn't repair it, or didn't repair it properly.. later work orders prove a faulty injector was the cause of the failure, so I called it from the start. Audi USA ended up paying for a new long block to be installed under their "good will" policy. When the engine swap was complete, no one called to let me know, and I had to drive over to the dealership to find out the status. The technician doing the labor, Tommy, lied to me on multiple counts. He claimed my engine accessories were replaced, that the only items reused were my turbo and engine mounts. This couldn't be farther from the truth, as only the long block and NONE of the accessories were replaced. He also assured me that the car computer was reset to know this was a new engine, requiring break-in. This was also a lie, as the service intervals were still configured for 10k not the initial 5k a new motor would have. While doing the engine swap, they manged to damage my front bumper cover. After I pointed this out, they had it fixed by their body shop. I return home only to find my homelink (garage door opener) no longer worked. A scan of the car indicated the module, which is located in the front bumper, was not plugged in. So that meant another trip back to the dealership for them to fix the problem they caused. On top of all of these issues... the owners manual is missing, the valet key is missing, all of the floor mats are missing, even the emergency tool kit is missing! After I brought up these problems, they gave me a manual and tool kit from a different model car... unfortunately the tool kit is incomplete for my model, and the manual is wrong on a number of features. Overall I wouldn't recommend these people for sales or service, both sides of the house will lie to you. Between missing items and service visits, I have to return 6 times in less than a month. It's unfortunate that they're the only Audi dealer in the area. More

The best part was the fact that we live 190 miles away from the dealership.Also, I was happy to learn that there were no outrageous fees associated with the deal.Just a straight up HONEST transaction.Drove down the next day to pick up the car and everything went 100% smoothly.Car was exactly as described with no surprises. I am currently enjoying my Q5 and am the happiest I could be... that says a lot about the service and product to be able to walk away with zero buyers remorse and complete satisfaction! More
