Six months after purchasing a vehicle the vehicle’s paint began, to only what I can describe as, delaminate from the rear and front of the vehicle. Upon contacting the body shop they stated they would need t began, to only what I can describe as, delaminate from the rear and front of the vehicle. Upon contacting the body shop they stated they would need to order replacement parts for the vehicle. Months went by and no call back. Finally, was able to reach the body shop and they stated everything is on backorder. More time passed and had to reach back out to the body shop only to be informed by the new General Manager that the body shop had been closed due to negligence and poor workmanship and was told to take it to another dealership. Upon taking the vehicle to another dealership we were advised that there was something wrong with the vehicle’s paint job during production. Once again, we contacted the St. Augustine dealership and at this time was advised the new body shop was open and to bring the vehicle in to be reviewed. Upon review from the General Manager and the Body Shop manager, finally they committed to repainting the rear and front of the vehicle. Upon completion three months later, the pain began to come off of the rear of the vehicle in chunks and the delamination began again. We attempted to contact the General Manager Anthony and were unsuccessful though were able to get in contact with the Body Shop manager Jason and he said to bring it in so that he could review as of which we did immediately. Upon arrival we attempted again to contact the General Manager and were unsuccessful. Jason stated that he would be sure that the vehicle was taken care of, and we scheduled a time to drop it off. At this time there was still no contact from the General Manager. The day prior to dropping off the vehicle we attempted to contact the General Manager once again with no luck, though a message was left for the General Manager to call back. Again, no call back from the General Manager instead we received a call back from the Body Shop Manager, Jason, confirming our appointment and that a rental car would be ready for us during the duration of the repair. A few hours after dropping off the vehicle the General Manager finally contacted us only to inform us that they would not be repairing the vehicle. Their reason was that the pain was being melted off due to where we were parking the vehicle. The General Manager was informed that this was not possible for 9 hours of the day the vehicle parked, backed in, under a covered area and on top of that a canopy of trees. The General Manager went on to explain that we would now need to make an insurance claim on the vehicle to initiate the repair again placing the blame on us. We were informed that we were more than welcome to come onsite and take a look at what they discovered for any blind person could see and understand what was being stated. This was insulting and, in my opinion, very unprofessional. If you are considering doing business with this location, please note our experience and Anthony's, the General Manager, unprofessionalism. It even went as far as when we arrived to pick up the vehicle, we overheard him discussing the situation with one of his colleagues again stating that it was where the vehicle was parked and that is is not their problem. STAY AWAY!!! More
They took care of my Jeep compass in a timely manner, the waiting room was good and so was the coffee. The staff kept checking to see if I needed any thing. My first experience with the service department was excellent. The customer service was above and beyond what I expected. The mechanic called me personally to discuss my vehicle and was very knowledge excellent. The customer service was above and beyond what I expected. The mechanic called me personally to discuss my vehicle and was very knowledgeable. He even arranged for a shuttle ride for me to be picked up. I will have routine maintenance to any issues competed there because I trust they have my best interests in mind and are knowledgeable and very professional and customer oriented. More
