I bought my Jeep in for a recall , service and warranty. They provided me with a rental. They did all the repairs properly and neatly in a timely manner, 1 day . This dealership used to be good, we stopped going to Jacksonville Chrysler Jeep because of the terrible service and had been very happy for years here. Both my husband and I took our jeeps here for every service and trusted them greatly. I noticed the dealership changed ownership to Hanania and that’s when we noticed the customer service went downhill. I brought my 2015 Jeep Cherokee in for a dead battery and was price gouged with a $671 charge, twice as much as under previous ownership. The following week my service 4 wheel drive light went off and I brought it in again. Waylon told me my PTU was failing and it would cost me $4800 to replace it even though Chrysler has put in place an extended warranty for a known issue with PTUs in 2014-2017 Jeep Cherokees. I was also told to put 4 brand new tires on and maybe that would fix the problem. I took it to Evan’s automotive for a second opinion, they put it up on their lift and were unable to get the 4 wheel drive to engage no matter what, stating the splines were stripped with damage to the input shaft. I spoke with Tom the service manager who told me to bring my jeep back in and they would put 4 tires on it from a used Cherokee and see if the PTU would start working again. I spent 3 hours in their service department only to have Waylon tell me again that the PTU is not functioning but that considering our relationship with their service department, FCA would likely cover 60% upwards to 90% of the repair. I gave them a few days and called back to receive the devastating news that the service department would not honor the good faith extension to me since it was greater than 2 years post my drive train’s original warranty had expired. It was like a slap in the face. This service department isn’t even a 10th of what it used to be and I will never come back for service nor will my husband. We’ll also tell everyone we know not to do business with them. I have no idea what happened behind the scenes, but considering the relationship both my husband and I had with this dealership and our jeeps, I expected more. More
