I purchased a new car from Atlanta Toyota via the Internet Dept. Chris MIller was the Internet Sales Rep. We did most of our communication via email, but we also discussed some details on the phone. My emails were answered quickly and the process was as pain-free as possible. I used to HATE going into the dealer and negotiating for a price, and playing the "waiting" game, going back and forth between salesman and manager. Chris found the exact car I wanted with all of the options I wanted, we then agreed on a price all from the comfort of my home/computer. I made an appointment to come in to pick up the car, I arrived 15 min. early and Chris got me some coffee while they finished detailing the car and filling the tank with gas. Chris went over the features in detail, we then took the car for a short drive to answer any questions, and then meet the finance manager to sign the paperwork. I actually walked away enjoying the experience, which is hard to believe. I really don't care if a salesman "tries" to become my friend, (we are doing business, not becoming long lost buddies) but I did find Chris to be very pleasant and I enjoyed my conversation with him while waiting for the Finance Manager. The Finance Manager reviewed the extended warranties/ lojack etc, did his sales pitch, but at no time was it high pressure. I have purchased many company cars and personal cars in the last 41 yrs and I don't believe I have done business with a better dealer or sales rep., I am sure they have lots of good sales reps, but I was very pleased with Chris, so let me plug him in this review. John Duran is an extremely wonderful person! He made the process of buying my first car easy. He is very honest and trustworthy. Furthermore, I had a small aesthetic accident with the bumper shortly after picking up my car and John Duran and Bernie Maldonado were just a phone call away and in no time, my car was back to normal! I honestly have no complaints, only compliments! More

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! My aunt from Kentucky came down to visit and to purchase a new vehicle while she was here. We chose to go to this dealership... She wanted to purchase a new 4RUNNER. She went on saturday and was trying to make a deal, the finance guy (Samuel) was more interested in listening to his ipod. He wasn't willing to work with her. I guess it was to much work and was cutting into his personal time. So my aunt left. Well Monday morning a different finance guy (Shelton) called my aunt and asked her if she could come back that they were ready to make a deal. She told them yes and that it would be around 6. So at 4:30 I called Frank (the sales guy) and told him we were on the way. He said ok we will see yall soon. So at 6:00 exactly we pulled into the dealership. We walked in and Frank walked over and said guys I am sorry but I think someone is trying to buy the car, let me go see whats going on. So we sat down and waited about 15 mintues, then Frank and some other person who calls himself a "MANAGER" walks over and says guys I am sorry for all the trouble but these other people just bought that car. Well then of course there were some words exchanged and Shelton then says give me a few mintues and let me search the surrounding areas to see if I can find you another car at the same price and let me see if I can get it over here. So then we wait another 20 minutes and Shelton comes back, he says I am sorry but I cant find another one to get here... We then ask why they called and asked us to comee back, made and appointment and then sold the car without even calling to let us know ( so we drive over and hour in rush hours traffic to get there)... All they could say is we are sorry... I advise anyone who plans to purchase, please do not go to this dealership... Not one person in the dealership has any common courtesy for any customers. The experience took too long. 11 AM to 4 PM to look at 1 car was too long. Dealership had the exact car we wanted and we got it at our price so that was great. Dealer should have stronger bags for me to carry the possessions from my trade in to the new car. Flimsy plastic trash bags were insulting. Dealer should also have set of screwdrivers and pliers to remove plates from trade ins. I did like the coffee table negotiating area, not as formal and took sales/customer threats away. allowing me to drive the car alone to show to wife was also a plus for dealership. Improvements can be made in the downtime areas while waiting. Put a Highlander broshure in front of me, that is the auto I was buying. Upon finalizing the removal of the car from the lot after the purchase has been made, I was disappointed that salesman did not go over the finer points of the auto such as the wiper controls for rear, and front, computer read outs, radio settings, interior lighting, a/c settings front and rear. I was left on my own to find how to work the auto controls. Other than all that, the experience of buying a car, expecially a new car, was quite satisfying and I will come back to that dealership in about 4 years. More
I absolutely recommend Atlanta Toyota for anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. They are the most friendliest people I have ever met and will work with you.
