From the beginning, the dealer refused to engage in normal question-and-answer communication on the auction listing. Multiple reasonable diligence questions — the same ones any mechanic or serious buyer would ask — were ignored or answered selectively. Requests for a phone conversation were also ignored until I made it clear I was no longer interested in doing business with them. One bidder even asked for a simple startup video to confirm there were no warning lights on the dashboard — something any professional dealer should be able to provide in minutes. That request was ignored as well. After this experience, I visited the dealership’s website and read through their Google reviews. Unfortunately, what I saw there validated my concerns. Multiple reviewers describe buying vehicles that arrived materially different than advertised, including situations where warning lights appeared shortly after delivery. Several reviews specifically reference Bring a Trailer transactions. Buyers should understand that one tactic sometimes used by higher-risk dealers is clearing diagnostic codes before delivery or test drives, only to claim problems “must have occurred in transport” when warning lights reappear. Whether intentional or not, that pattern shows up repeatedly in the feedback here and should be taken seriously by anyone considering a purchase. Upon delivery and during ownership, I identified numerous problems, including non-functioning hazard lights, a persistent passenger seat warning chime that would not disable, missing engine bay components, a missing hood strut (the hood would not stay up on its own), an inoperative gear indicator, and missing or incorrect exterior window trim. Taken together, these issues raised legitimate safety concerns, particularly for a new driver, to whom the car was intended to be gifted. Delivery itself was also concerning. The car arrived in a shady and unprofessional manner, transported on a pickup-style trailer with no proper unloading equipment, creating an unsafe situation. I have photographs documenting the delivery process. The listing also included a warranty. However, I later received certified mail from the warranty company stating that the dealer never paid for the warranty and that it was therefore canceled. I have retained this correspondence. Over the next two months, I addressed many of these issues myself and ultimately sold the vehicle privately on AutoTrader at a loss, providing full disclosure to the new buyer. When I posted a factual and restrained comment on Bring a Trailer describing my experience, the dealer responded by threatening legal action, despite the comment being accurate and measured. I have documentation supporting all of the above, including repair records/photos, delivery records/photos, and written correspondence. Then towed to a repair shop where multiple issues were found. Issues Nick and Atlanta Motorsports were well aware of before and at point of sale. Deliberate misrepresentation of vehicle!! Dealership also sold this car without producing a title which is illegal. Now more than two months after purchase, car is in non running condition and even if it was running cannot be sold or used due to lack of title. Weather you speak to disrespectful Nick, or you receive a series of untruths and cursing from Austin, both will suggest speaking with imaginary owner “Tony” who will never answer the phone! Apparently truth does not exist in their limited vocabulary. Deception, misrepresentation, and fraud is Atlanta Motorsports specialty!! More
