I would recommend Atamian, (Tewksbury)...and would not hesitate to go back. The sales office is quite comfortable and relaxing, where you don't feel pressured. The price was $1000 less than quotes I got at 3 other Honda dealerships, which basically is the bottom line for my car shopping. I spent too long waiting--even when I rescheduled some of my clients so I could make it to the dealership before Bill left for the day, and scheduled a specific time to meet him, I still waited 15 minutes for him. It doesn't make me feel like my time is too important to them. More

They are a very "high tech" dealer. No pressure on the sales floor either. I was able to walk in with the price I was quoted on the web (which was the best among all dealerships I dealt with in the area) and walked out with the car in a matter of 2 hours. Financial department was also very knowledgeable. They explained all the financing options thoroughly. I wasn't quite happy with the interest rate but it was either cashback or a good rate. I picked cashback. Overall, a very pleasant experience. I would recommend you shop them last because that's where you're likely to get the best deal! More
After reviewing several dealers, the Costco program does take the guess work out of the dealer and customers. Both parties can get the deal done and have a constructive experience. I had a price from Bill Goulette who handles internet sales and assurance that they were participating in the clunker program. I arrived at the dealership with all this in writing, and was told by sales sales and assurance that they were participating in the clunker program. I arrived at the dealership with all this in writing, and was told by sales that they gov't rebate could be applied only if I paid the full MSRP for the car. Since I had already negotiated a price $3000 less than the MSRP, this effectively gave me a rebate of $1500 and put the remaining $3000 in pocket of Atamian. The fact that I had discussed the details of the clunker program several times with Goulette, that I had all this in writing with a price good until the end of July, meant nothing. When I asked why the rebate would apply only to the MSRP, the salesman actually replied: "So we can make more money." He also told me: "We call around--this is how everyone else is doing it." I emailed Bill Goulette who blames the government for not responding fast enough to email requests. To quote directly from his emails: "So you can be mad not my fault the government will not release money so what am I to do? We can't take any deals until they do what they say. Its the government program and it doesn't work but people get mad at us. The site didn't work most the day so if you get upset with me or my sales rep I understand but we are wasting our time trying to help people and we can't get there money. Guess what not our fault." I told him I was happy to wait for the gov't response if he would honor the price, but no deal. I went to another dealer, got a better price, filled out the gov't paperwork, and was done in 90 minutes. We've bought cars from Atamian before, but NEVER AGAIN! More
The staff was a bit TOO friendly. Having people we hadn't even dealt with come up to shake our hands and congratulate us on our new car got to be a bit much. Bill Goulette was very patient with my process to reach a decision between dealers although I suspect I was driving him crazy! John Pudlo handled the actual sale and was very professional. The entire process went smoothly, from the on-line quote to picking up the car. I received a follow up call from Bill Goulette minues after requesting an on-line quote; and minutes later received an email to picking up the car. (Bill was very responsive - the few questions I emailed him, he immediately replied to via email.) It was the best offer I received and there were no "hidden surprises" in what I was to pay. Shane Battle was my salesperson and was very accommodating. When I questioned if one of the features in the car I test drove was working correctly, he immediately let me test another to confirm everything was ok. Jimmy and Joe in Finance were very easy to work with, there was no pressure such as I have experienced in other dealerships. And finally, the car was ready when expected,Shane explained the features and answered my final questions. A very positive car buying experience. More
