Frank the service manager had my back though my whole process of dealing with GM. Even though I wasn't too easy to deal with Frank was nothing but professional. Even after I got bad news about my truck Frank told me not to loose hope and took charge, handled everything and fought for the right thing. I've worked at dealerships before and never had a service manager work for customers the way he did. I didn't even buy my truck from Asheville Chevrolet, but I wont go anywhere else. If your looking for a vehicle or need service this is the place to go! More

I had 2 certified technicians look at my car because it was making a roaring noise in the front right tire, after having two techs look at it and tell me what it was the said to call Chevrolet and have them look it up to see if it was under warranty which I did and it was. So I set an appointment to have them replace it and while I was there I asked them to check the transmission because it was jerking super hard. Long story short they drove the car 1 mile and said it was the left wheel bearing that it wasn’t covered under warranty and it would cost close to $600 to fix and the transmission was fine. I asked to speak to both a manager and the technician and was declined to see either. I just wanted an explanation as to how they diagnosed it if they really drove it they would clearly feel the transmission shifting hard and to see what I was actually paying the $95 for. im absolutely disgusted with how I was treated and given no explanation as to how my car was diagnosed. Judy’s response wasn’t simply our technician is the best. More

We called two other dealerships and explained that we were traveling from another state and needed immediate service and were told that it was a 30 day waiting period and could not help us. We contacted Asheville Chevrolet and spoke to Jimmy Shelton and told us to come in now. He took us right away and had the part shipped over night. The general sales manager Bobby Roussel and salesman Tony Valentine were very helpful and understanding and put us in a courtesy car for the two days so that we could continue our vacation with very little interruption. We appreciate the service that we received from this dealership and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks again from Randy & Lisa Bourg from Bourg, Louisiana More

Totally unsatisfactory work and guarantee Took my Tahoe in for the 4x4 having issues., charged me 624.00 and said it was fixed. Took it back a second time for the same issue still not fixed. T Took my Tahoe in for the 4x4 having issues., charged me 624.00 and said it was fixed. Took it back a second time for the same issue still not fixed. Took it back again for the 3rd time now they want to charge additional 750.00+ to fix it and can’t guarantee it. Well their first guarantee was no good don’t think I want the second guarantee that they have already said it was no guarantee to fix. Ask to speak to service mgr and was told they didn’t have one at present time. So I ask who is handling problems then and was told Stan. I ask to talk to him and he would not come talk to me said he wasn’t going to do nothing about my ongoing issue. So if you think this place is a joke ask for Stan the jerk supposedly in charge!! I want to talk to the owner now but that’s is probably impossible because they are already standing behind their first crappy diagnosis and it is not fixed. So I am out of my 600.00 + and they want more to fix it with no guarantees. Asheville Chevrolet in my book now sucks at customer service and fixing vehicles not keeping a guarantee promise!! So I give them 0 stars for shotty work!! More
Rude, unenthusiastic, refused to service I have been taking my car to Asheville Chevrolet for regular maintenance visits since Saturn closed, almost 10 years. I had called Asheville Chevrolet I have been taking my car to Asheville Chevrolet for regular maintenance visits since Saturn closed, almost 10 years. I had called Asheville Chevrolet to make an appointment and ask service questions. After a long hold I was connected to someone who could not answer my question and could only make standard appointments. I made a service appointment and did not mention that I needed a noise checked because I was not given the opportunity to do so. When I arrived for the service, the tech seemed unenthused and unknowledgeable. She asked me what I wanted done to the car. I thought that the techs would know what is included in a service appointment and mentioned that. I started to tell her that there was a strange noise that I would like to have checked but she cut me off and said they didn't have time for anything else. In the past, they would at least have listened to me explain the problem and checked it to see if I needed to make a return appointment for a diagnosis and hopefully fix. I asked to talk to someone friendlier and she told me to talk to the tech beside her who was just as mean because he had been listening to our conversation. I told them I would take it somewhere else and they said that was a good idea. I asked to discuss the problem with a manager and they sent the general management who appeared to know less about cars than me (and that is not much). I was telling him about a problem that was reported on a previous service visit and still existed. He couldn't understand what I was referring to and started looking through my car manual. Then he threw down my car manual, said they couldn't help me, and told me to leave. That is the first unfriendly, incompetent encounter that I have had at Asheville Chevrolet in the 10 years I have been going for service. I'm disappointed that the quality of customer service has gotten so low. I no longer feel comfortable having my car serviced there. I'm grateful that other competent and friendly options are available. More
Tire repair while on the road Travelling North from NC toward VA (we live in NH) we were headed east on Interstate 40 on a camping trip, my wife and I stopped for fuel at the Shell Travelling North from NC toward VA (we live in NH) we were headed east on Interstate 40 on a camping trip, my wife and I stopped for fuel at the Shell station exit 44 off the highway. While pumping fuel I noticed a screw in my front tire tread right on top. A mechanic (not sure for whom) was also fueling at the same time. I asked him where I could get my tire fixed and he said "If the trees were not in the way, you could see Asheville Chevy right over there". We pulled the 5th wheel into the lot and I went in and talked to a very nice man that used to be a cop. He joked with us and we felt right at home! He instructed me to park the trailer in the back lot and he would get me right in. We had just picked up breakfast sandwiches and coffee at the Dunkin's next door so the timing was perfect. We got a nice break and was able to check email with the WiFi. By the time we were through eating and browsing the web, our tire was patched up and back on the 3500. We hooked up the trailer and were on our way in about an hour and a half total time. Considering we were at the mercy of anyone that could or would fix our tire, we sure did find the right place. The price to repair it was very reasonable and I would recommend this service department to anyone! More

The mechanic has giv My truck has been in their service department 11 months. I use this truck for work. The truck has some kind of engine problem. The mechanic has given up on the repair. He replaced lots of parts but did not fix the problem AND my truck is not driveable. They are charging me $3000 for not fixing my truck and keeping it for 11 months. It is the same if not worse than when I brought it in. The managements decision to bill me is UNBELIEVABLE! After the fact I see many negative reviews on other sites concerning their service department. Ironically, the mechanic that worked on my truck is one of their best mechanics and management keeps jumping him from one vehicle to another. As a very small business owner, I could not take 11 months on a "project" and then bill the customer without any results to show. Customer service did not keep me updated. I had to stop by and go in shop to speak to the mechanic. More
