I had some issues on what should have been a straight forward purchase. I went in to purchase a used $50k pickup by writing a check. The used car manager said they could get me a better deal if I finan forward purchase. I went in to purchase a used $50k pickup by writing a check. The used car manager said they could get me a better deal if I financed a portion so I agreed. I have a credit score above 830 but they came back with a rate of over 7%. No big deal but I asked the woman doing the finance work why the rate was so high. She told me it was because she only checked with one lender so I went ahead and purchased the truck. When I got home I noticed they had pulled my credit twice. I would not be a big deal if they had been honest but the finance woman stood there and lied to my face and said she had only pulled it once. The next problem was I was promised two keys. The salesman told me the 2nd key would be there the day after I purchased the truck and I could pick it up when I came to get the truck. It was not there so they agreed to mail it. It never showed up in the mail so I called the following week and it still had not shown but the salesman said they would get me a new one. I then was told it would be there on a Saturday so I drove down and still no key. I spoke to the used car manager and the sales man and they did not seem concerned about lie about the financing or the key. I wish people would just tell the truth and do what they say they are going to do. More
