Everone knows that buying a new car is not a plesant experience. That has always been true with me and countless others. However, this dealership, Arapahoe Hyundai, has managed to reverse that trend a experience. That has always been true with me and countless others. When I first met Diane, I explained that I intended to drive cars from three different manufacturers and then decide which vehicle to buy. Rather than trying to make me commit to purchasing a Hyundai on the spot or making vague promises about "doing something" for me on the price as I encountered at other dealerships, she talked real numbers with me, which gave me a reason to return after driving the cars I wanted to compare. The only bad part of the experience was that the gas gauge in the car did not work when I was ready to drive the new car away, and the "check engine" light lit up. The problem was a minor issue, a sensor in the fuel tank which failed, and I was provided a loaner to drive until my car was repaired. Now that I have my car, I am happy with the car, happy with the deal I received, and happy with the way Diane and the dealership treated me. More
Diane and Tony did a great job answering all of my questions regarding features on the Santa Fe and the difference between each model. I originally drove the Santa Fe at another dealer (Shortline), s questions regarding features on the Santa Fe and the difference between each model. I originally drove the Santa Fe at another dealer (Shortline), so I was looking for the best price. After negotiating the best price Tony could offer, the next day I checked with Shortline to compare. They said they could sell me the Santa Fe with the Nav package in white, which was my first choice in color, at the same price or better as Arapahoe. I considered visiting Shortline, but I was so impressed with the caring service I received from Tony, Diane and Derick at Arapahoe Hyundai, I didn't go talk to Shortline. Instead, I met with Tony to finalize the agreement and purchase the silver Santa Fe with the nav package. After all the paperwork was complete, Tony spent a lot of time with me explaining all the features and teaching me how to use the navigation system, etc. I would definitely recommend Arapahoe Hyundai to a friend. WE ARE FROM DALLAS,OREGON AND OUR LOCAL (SALEM) HYUNDIA COULDN'T GET THE CAR WE WANTED. HYUNDIA DIDN'T HAVE ANY WAY FOR US TO ORDER THE CAR WE WANTED. SO I WENT ON-LINE AND LOOK AT ABOUT 100 DEALERS TO SE COULDN'T GET THE CAR WE WANTED. HYUNDIA DIDN'T HAVE ANY WAY FOR US TO ORDER THE CAR WE WANTED. SO I WENT ON-LINE AND LOOK AT ABOUT 100 DEALERS TO SEE IF THEY HAD THE CAR WE WANTED. WE FOUND THREE DEALERSHIPS THAT HAD WHAT WE WANTED. EUGENE KIM WAS OUR FIRST CONTACT WITH ARAPAHOE HYUNDAI. HE ANSWERED ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS THAT WE HAD. BECAUSE WE WERE OVER 1,300 MILES AWAY WE HAD TO MAKE SURE WE WERE GETTING THE DEAL THAT WE WERE OFFERED FROM EACH OF THE THREE DEALERSHIPS. EUGENE WAS CLEAR FROM THE FIRST WHAT ARAPAHOE HYUNDAI OFFER WAS AND DIDN'T TRY TO HIDE OR NOT DISCLOSE FACTS NEEDED TO MAKE A DECISION. ALSO, BECAUSE OREGON IS A NON TAX STATE WE NEEDED TO MAKE SURE WE WERE NOT PAYING TAXES ON THE PURCHASE OF OUR NEW SANTA FE. AFTER WE DECIDED TO PURCHASE THE SANTA FE FROM ARAPAHOE HYUNDAI, EUGENE HELPED US MAKE OUR PLANS TO PICK UP THE NEW CAR IN COLORADO. WE FLEW TO DENVER AND EUGENE PICKED US UP AT THE AIRPORT AND TOOK US TO THE DEALERSHIP. WE FINISHED UP OUR PAPERWORK AND HE WENT OVER THE FEATURES OF THE SANTA FE AND GOT US READY TO LEAVE. WE WERE GOING TO TAKE TWO WEEKS TO GET BACK TO OREGON AND WENT TO NEBRASKA FOR A WEEK. WE ONLY HAD 1,500 MILES ON THE SANTA FE, BUT STOPPED AT ARAPAHOE HYUNDAI AND HAD THEM GIVE THE CAR A CHECK OUT AND GAVE IT A GOOD WASHING (LOTS OF NEBRASKA BUGS). SERVICE DEPARTMENT HELP GET US OUT AND BACK ON THE ROAD WITHIN AN HOUR. OUR OVERALL DEALING WITH ARAPAHOE HYUNDAI AND EUGENE KIM WAS GREAT. Leo is the internet sales manager. He received my search for a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and started to help me. When I called he told me to wait to see if the car was still available. When he saw that it was he said for me to come on in. He did not try to bait and switch me. He let me drive the car and it had everything that he said was on the car. Not only that, but I had a rental car that I drove to the dealership. When he found out that Hertz was going to charge me a few hundred dollars more to bring it in early he told me to not do it. He said for me to leave it there and then he would drive it down on Sunday. He drove the rental car to my house like he said and I gave him a ride back to the dealership. Leo is an outstanding sales manager and a man of his word. I really enjoyed doing business with him and I wouldn't mind doing business with him again. In fact everyone involved was outstanding. More
