Having just moved and previously purchased our other cars for cash, we were hesitant to finance a new (used) car, but were worried about finding a car with great safety ratings, in good condition, and in our price range. We spent a whole day driving to dealerships all around the Twin Cities only to find cars needing a lot of mechanical work right-off-the-bat or dealing with pushy salespeople, leaving me in tears and feeling hopeless about finding anything that would work for our family. On the way home, out of desperation, we stopped by Apple Used Autos "just to see what they have" with no intention of purchasing anything. We were immediately greeted by Carol Madson, a self-proclaimed baby-lover and mother/grandmother. She immediately understood our safety concerns and vowed to help us find something we we would be comfortable with and (hopefully) by able to afford without financing. We looked at a few cars with Carol and another great salesman, Scott Trebesch, and ultimately fell in love with one slightly over our budget. Dejected, but knowing we needed to get this car for our daughter's well-being, we decided to finance some of the purchase. However, Carol, Scott, and Chad Thompson, the sales manager, worked with us and valued our trade in a way that we were able to stretch the cash we had to buy the car outright. We have so enjoyed driving our new car and know our daughter is safe and comfortable in it! While we have no intention of returning the vehicle, knowing they have a very reasonable return policy and warranty (at least on the particular car we purchased) gives me peace of mind. The non-commission sales and no-hassle pricing and trade-in valuing made the experience such a vast improvement over our interactions with other dealers. It will be a long time before we need to replace this car, but when we do, Apple Used Autos has just earned new customers for life! More

One of the cars he looked at was bought by my daughter, a 2010 VW Passat Kumfort wagon, which i also liked, but i found a 2006 Ford Freestyle Wagon, which is the one that i decided to trade my 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan in on.the Freestyle had less miles on it. Our Salesman Zack has a world of patience, because all told it pretty much took most of the day to get thru all of our paperwork and info put into computer. So far so good with the Freestyle, no complaints yet. Hopeing that whomever had it before me took good care of it, as i will do. I believe the better you keep your vehicle the longer and better it will run for you. More

Helped me get into the right car When I drove through the lot, Rich came out to ask what I was looking for. I had found an SUV on cars.com that I was looking at. It was not what I was looking for, but they had another Yukon that they let me test drive. It was a very good experience, I was able to test the car have it checked out. I really liked the openness about the work done and the pricing being set. Once I made my decision, they worked with me on my financing and we had the Yukon that weekend without any issues. Great process and experience all around. More

Enjoyable Time It was a bone-chilling Saturday in December, and few were out car shopping. Carol Madson met my wife and me, in the lot. We were reluctant to get out of our warm car, but Carol was willing to brave the elements, right along with us. She understood exactly what we needed and helped us view/test drive and even brought several cars indoors, where it was warm. I think we met everyone working that day. Even the maintenance man (Frank?) chipped-in to chat with us and help out. It was as though we were all old friends. Although we didn't purchase that day, we have purchased three vehicles through Apple Auto Group previously, and will definitely keep checking this lot. As a side note, this review was not solicited. We were met at the door by Carol Madson and she was a breath of fresh air. She quickly found out our needs, budget, wants, and had a list of cars with keys ready for us to test drive in no time. She pointed out pros and cons on each vehicle and didn't sugar coat anything to get a quick sale. We never felt pressured or hurried. She was great. These sales people do not work on commission and it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this dealership for used auto sales. We ended up purchasing the first vehicle we saw and was able to drive it home that day. More

They work for their customers' satisfaction and needs, rather than focusing on making as much money as they can for themselves. Tom also helped me a lot with trying to get the best deal with my loan. I know it was a lot of work, because I have terrible credit, but they didn't give up until we got a bank that was willing to work with us. I am so grateful to everyone at Apple Used Autos, and now have a car that I love! More
